The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Duel Arena!

Gee...That's really disappointing...That's a bummer man...That's really buzzkill...

Oh Well, I suppose Blair can have her Duel now. She said that she wanted to join this competition. I believe she said that she wanted to right after I finished my Duel with Fearless...

And from what she said it sounds like she wanted to be my partner in a Tag Duel...Problem is Tag Duels don't work too well here...

Normally I'd say that I'm open to a Duel now but I'm gonna be busy today so whoever feels like Dueling can start the next match.

So, what I miss? (I'll be up for a duel in a bit, by the way)

 

I'll start off by using Heavy Storm on your facedowns.


and since i'm pretty sure you're going to counter that, i'll use an MST for good measure.


four cards left in my hand.

i activate lightning vortex.


and then monster reborn to special summon the monster i discarded for lightning vortex, Yubel



once card left in my hand. i activate pot of greed.


and normal summon Shadowpriestess of Ohm


now i'll destroy my Yubel to inflict 800 damage to your life points. Since Yubel was destroyed, I'll summon Yubel Terror Incarnate from my deck.


and then i'll activate Card of Sanctity



Now I'll activate the double summon card


and summon another shadowpriestess



and use her effect to destroy terror incarnate for another 800 points of damage.
and now i'll special summon the Ultimate Nightmare from my deck.


Now I'll attack with both of my Shadowpriestesses. This would be the end if we agreed on 4000 LP's but we didn't so i'll assume you wanted 8000.

I'll set three facedowns and end my turn.

Sorry to disrupt the duel but how are you guys putting the cards on there. Is it part of the siggys?

 

They use IMG thingies with direct link urls, or something.

If you quote their posts and examine it, you should see how.

 

Perhaps I can explain this!:)

What you do is when you're posting click on the "Insert Image" button. it looks like this: Click on it and a blank space will appear then enter the URL of the card image in the blank space and press OK. (Enter only one image/card image at a time) and once you've done that the image should appear. But to make things easier you might want to copy/paste the text there instead.

For example, if I wanted to merely link to a card image without including it in my post I would simply type the URL of the image like this:

http://www.yugioh-cards.net/Merchant.../DB2-EN044.jpg

But if I wanted to include the card image in my post without linking to it I would do as I instructed above.

And the end result is this!:)

Wait a minute...How many Life Points do people play with in Real Life?

 

Well usually most people (that I know of) will go with 8000. I personally only played 4000 LP in real life once or twice, from what I remember. >.>

 

official rules for tournament play:8000. everyone in casual play that i know of also uses that.
they make it 4000 in the show so the duels take less time. 4000 in real life takes way too little time.

 

I usually played with 8000.
And sometimes with 15000.

 

I see. Well I'm open to a Duel now if somebody wants to challenge me.

I've got a new Ace In The Hole Deck that I want to test! I'm planning on using it to defeat DeadHeart!

Well, that hasn't gone well for you, its been over twenty minutes and still no childrens card games have happened.

Also, after being bored enough to watch some of the Japanese version of the original Yu-Gi-Oh I actually noticed how many illegal moves there where. My god, I honestly think I could of beaten any of them in the first season, and apparently this is all meant to be covered by the fact Pegasus made special rules. But it did give me some ideas which I might use in a future game here.

Also, do you guys still play 4000? I sorta skimmed over the last few pages and noticed something about 8000 LP.

 

I think people now have the option to play with either 4000 LP or 8000 LP.

EDIT: Is anyone up for a duel? I think I'm starting to get rusty. D:

Oh, and I almost forgot. Guys...Can we PLEASE start playing the game the way we used to again? I mean playing without ever running out of cards in our hand? I liked it much better back when we played that way...

The Duels were alot more interesting back then too...Take my Duel against Dalk on Pages 74-75 for example. That Duel was just EPIC...It was the very best Duel is this Arena that's for sure...

Can we have the option to duel that way if we choose? To be honest I still prefer playing on a table top although thats impossible for me now since when the anime became uncool here the card game was classed as lame so no one plays it here for any reason XD

 

That's fine. You guys can choose whether or not you want to Duel that way when you're dueling each other.

Also, Are you serious? Are you saying both Yugioh and Yugioh GX are canceled now??? And nobody even plays The Card Game anymore???
