in defense position. I then play

Dealing 2000 damage to you, and then I set three more spells/traps.

End turn, my Ameba comes back to my side of the field.

Alright! Here I Go! My Turn!


I Draw!



First I activate the Field Spell Skyscraper!


Then I Play Double Summon!


And Summon Elemental Hero Wildheart in Attack Mode!


Then I also summon Elemental Hero Captain Gold in Attack Mode!


Next I Play Card of Sanctity!


To reload both our hands!

Then I Play Ancient Rules!


And Summon Elemental Hero Neos in Attack Mode!


Then I set 4 cards facedown in The Spell Trap Zones:


I now attack your Ameba with Wildheart:

 

Activate at Card of Sanctity.



I win unless you have a card facedown that counters this effect.

EDIT: And he gets off. I'm leaving for a week tomorrow, so if he doesn't get back on today he wins if he gets on tomorrow. >>

 

You are aware that Card of Sanctity's effect also applies to you aren't you?

And Wildheart's attack on your Ameba continues:

 

Alright, so no life point damage done to my life points since you negated Greed and Ameba was in defense position. My turn, I set 2 spell/trap cards

Feel free to counter either one of those, but we both have three facedowns so it would expend all of your facedown cards.

 

You had 4 facedowns earlier and just used one of them. Then you just set 2 more which would give you a total of 5. That means that your Spell/Trap Zones are full. Meaning, You cannot activate Tremendous Fire!

I flipover and activate in response to Secret Barrel:

 

Oh, I can activate Tremendous Fire. It's one of my facedowns.

Activate on chain lvl 2 in response to Barrel Behind the Door;

 

But you didn't say you flipped it over...

Anyway, I flipover and activate in response to Solemn Judgment:


And remember: You just set those last 2 facedowns so you can't activate them this turn.

 

It doesn't say in the rules that I can't counter with something the turn I set it down. If so, then you already lost because you couldn't have countered Greed. So can I go ahead and counter this now?

 

But...the rules of the actual game say that facedown cards can't be activated on the turn they are set...
