I've got a question though. Are the cards COS and COD still legal Jaden?

 

Um...No...They're not on The Legal List on The First Page...Only The Anime Exclusives listed on The First Page are Legal.

The other ones can only be used if chosen in a Duel where both players agree on the use of Anime Exclusives...

 

I've always wondered why you call Card Of Sanctity (that is where COS stands for I presume?) anime-exclusive. Isn't there a real card with that name?


Also, do not expect me to play an Ancient Gear deck again. Just saying. I don't know what kind of deck Ruon is gonna play (I don't know her strategy and I'm not gonna bother looking) so we're even in that.

 

there is a card with that name, but its effect is different from the custom one everyone here uses that has the anime effect.

I play Graceful Charity and draw 3 cards.

Then I discard Molten Zombie and Volcanic Counter.


5 cards in hand.
I set four of them face-down (wouldn't want you to hurl Straight Flush at me).


I'm ending my turn.

 

I activate my facedown heavy storm which destroys your facedowns and my facedowns as well. now these 2 cards activate now I play dark plasma zone
and tribute the 2 tokens to summon Earthbound immortal Ccapac-Apu then I set 3 facedowns and attack you directly dealing 3500 life point damage

 

Do you get five cards with hand refill and your Draw Phase or just five cards?

I activate Volcanic Counter's effect and remove it from play to dish out 3500 points of damage to you also. On top of that, your Heavy Storm destroyed three of my Kozaky's Self-Destruct Buttons making you lose another 3000 LP points.

So before my second turn even comes...

My LP: 4500
Your LP: 1500

-Draw Phase-
6 cards in hand (I still had one from my last turn).
-Standby Phase-

-Main Phase 1-
I summon Volcanic Slicer in attack mode.

5 cards in hand.
I use its effect; you lose 500 LP.
I end my turn by placing four cards face-down.


-End Phase-
1 card in hand (or two).

And with that, it's your turn again.

 

Flexibility doesn't help in a lock. There are very few ways to worm your way out of not being able to play cards, and in this arena you will be dead by the time you would be able to break out of most locks.

I thought I was being straight forward, but obviously not.

It's just that in real life it is very hard to set up a full lock, and when you do it will usually then take several turns to actually beat your opponent. In this arena you can set up many locks in one turn and kill your opponent in your next. It just destroys the excitement of the duel if you ask me.

 

Ohhhhh...So THAT'S what you were saying...I guess I can't argue with that.

Also, Is it just me, or am I the only one in The Arena who ever had a First Turn Pin used on them? Cause I don't recall it ever happening to anyone else...

I AM capable of breaking out of MOST First Turn Pins...So far the only person in The Arena who's made ones I couldn't beat is Xakota.

 

seems that you chained that to my heavy storm so i activate my facedown that was to be destroyed barrel behind the door to negate volcanic counters effect and redirect it at you with dealing 3500 additional damage and leaving you with 1000 lp. now I activate hanewata's effect to negate kazaky's effect
now I attack you again leaving you with zero life points

Anyway, I was kinda hoping to Duel Xakota soon. I've gotten better and I'm kinda curious to see how well I measure up to him now.
