Learn to read. The Crystal Beasts were destroyed by Rescue Cat's effect. MS7 only negates, he does not destroy. I saw this move and if there was anything illegal about it i would have said so. Let me do my job.

 

Rescue Cat's effect destroys them in the end phase.
It doesn't say they have to be destroyed by battle, just destroyed while in the monster zone.

Mystic Swordsman's effect says negate the effects of the spell cards.
It was their effect as monsters which put them into the Spell Zone, and they have no effect while being in the Spell Zone. They're just there.
