    Alright.

First I play Rapid-Fire Magician in attack mode.

Then I play Swords of Revealing Light stopping your monsters from attacking for 3 of your turns and doing 400 direct damage from Rapid-Fire Magician's effect.

Then I play Raigeki to destroy all the monsters on your side of the field and do another 400 direct damage from Rapid-Fire Magician's effect.

Then I play 2 cards facedown and attack with Rapid-Fire Magician directly doing 1600 damage and ending my turn.

    [IMG][IMG]

    My field:
    Monsters: Rapid-Fire Magician
Spell/Traps: two face down cards and Swords of Revealing Light

    My LP: 4000
    Your LP: 1600

Big mistake, playing your facedowns after you activate your cards.

In response to swords of revealing light, I activate my facedown quickplay spell card, Mystical Space Typhoon, to destroy it, thus allowing me to attack next turn.

I may have taken damage, but that card was a big mistake. You've activated my face down monster's flip effect!

So your monster is sent back to your hand before even attacking.

As for Raigeki, I activate my trap card, Solemn Judgement.

A worthy sacrifice, 'cause now my monsters remained unharmed, and you with only two cards on the field.

I'll wait now for the heads up to enter my turn, or for other possible outcomes.

I'll decide the terms after this. Getting a little late here, so I might not be able to duel much longer tonight.

    Alright then, let's end this.

    -Draw-

Here I go! I play one more facedown cards in my spell/trap card zones.

Next, I play Big Wave Small Wave, destroying every monster card on my field, and allowing me to Special Summon up to that number!

    IT'S TIME! I summon,

    LEVIA DRAGON, DAEDALUS!!!

Next, I bring forth Gogiga Gagagigo and Deepsea Macrotrema!

Now, I play the last remaining card in my hand, Pot of Avarice!

Now pretty much all the monster cards in my graveyard are back in my deck, and I draw two cards. (The exact number of monsters in my graveyard are five, correct?)

Next, I play my field spell, A Legendary Ocean.

Think of it as my insurance. Now then, I offer Deepsea Macromentia to tribute summon,

    Mobius, the Frost Monarch!

This causes two things to happen. One, because Deepsea Macromentia is sent from the field to the graveyard, all my monsters get a boost of attack power, 500 to be exact. Two, because Mobius was tribute summoned, your spell/trap cards are destroyed!

Your field is clear! Now, Daedalus, Mobius, Gagagigo! Attack directly!

If all went well, your life points should reach zero. -Awaits possible counter, or to enter his Main Phase 2.-

Think I'm starting to get the hang of this stuff again. xD Ah, that was fun.

Can't get overconfident yet, though. There might still be something Santa can do to slip out of my turn. (Maybe.)

    EDIT: Think I might've gone a little overboard on the damage though. . . . Totalled it up, and I think the battle damage was around 9550. o.o;

    Or 10000.

    That, would be epic.

. . . Unfortunately, it seems I've already promised another duel after my match with Santa. ._.

    Maybe after that?

    Kay, I'll wait.

Hey Guys, I've been thinking lately that in order to make The Duels in The Arena easier to keep up with maybe I should make it a rule that you must declare what Phase you are entering...

    What do you think guys?

It would of course go like this:

    -Draw Phase-

    *Draws a Card*

    -Standby Phase-

    *Insert Effect Here*

    -Main Phase 1-

I Play *Insert Spell Card Here* I summon *Insert Monster Here* etc. I think you get the point.

    -Battle Phase-

I attack with *Insert Monster Here*

    -Main Phase 2-

Well I think it's pretty much self explanatory from there...

Anyway, What do you guys think? Should I make that a rule?

I myself say yes. But like I said I wanna make it fair so I'll let it be the people's call once again.

The heck has gotten into you all of a sudden? Anyway, Great Timing![IMG] I was hoping to take you on![IMG] I accept your challenge![IMG]

It's about time we settled this![IMG]

    Get Your Game On![IMG]

Since you don't mind I think I'll go first! My move!

*sigh* I guess it's time for me to prove to Xakota just what a crappy Duelist I really am if I don't have enough Pots of Greed, Graceful Charities, Cards of Sanctity and Cards of Demise...[IMG]

Since he is clearly not going to believe me unless I prove it to him...[IMG]

    -Draw Phase-

    Draw!

    -Standby Phase-

    *No Effect*

    -Main Phase 1-

    First I Play Card Destruction!

So now we both discard our hands and then start with a clean sleight!

    Next I'll Play 5th Hope!

My Hand Size resets to 6...

Anyway, Next I'll Play Pot of Greed!

Which raises my hand size to 7 now!

    Next I Play Graceful Charity!

And Draw 3 cards and discard Elemental Hero Necroshade and Necro Gardna!

    Then I Play Skyscraper!

    Then I Play Double Summon!

    And Summon Elemental Hero Wildheart!
and Elemental Hero Bladedge in Attack Mode!

Then I Equip Elemental Hero WildHeart with Cyclone Boomerang!

Then I set 2 cards facedown and end my turn...
    [IMG][IMG]

And take a look at THAT Xakota! See that? I've already lost! =P

    I am now left with:

    1. No Cards in my hand! =P

    2. A Field with only 2 facedowns and 2 monsters for protection! =P

    3. And absolutely nothing to help replenish my hand next turn! =P

I hope all of you are happy my friends...I've exposed my crappyness just for you! =P

    -Insert Dramatic Anime Sequence Here-

You may strike me down when ready DeadHeart...[IMG]

My Dueling Spirit is ready to give up the ghost...[IMG]

Strike me down so that I may die a hero...[IMG]

Xakota...Promise me that you'll carry on my legacy...[IMG]

Giving up before the battle's even started?

C'mon, Jaden, you know you're better than that. [IMG]

Though maybe you should consider a new first turn strategy?

For the record, I'm really just trying to prove to Xakota that I need to have more than one Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity as well as Card of Sanctity and Card of Demise in order to function well as a Duelist since he doesn't believe me...

You sure you haven't just put too much faith in those cards? I heard it was wise not to rely heavily upon individual elements of your deck.

Just do it the old fashioned way, take a few turns to make your plans work by laying out traps for your opponent to fall into which help your plan.
