You could just edit out the use of Mirror Force from your turn and have Dust Tornado remove something else like my Swords of Revealing Light? Or is that against the arena rules?

 

I made a mistake/rule break in my post so I need to redo it.
Soooo. I negate your spells by discarding 3 cards and reducing my lp damage. Then I activate my facedown dust tornado now I set a facedown due to DT's effect and set 2 more facedowns

First I play Skilled Dark Magician in defence mode.



Then play two card facedown and end my turn.

 

Alright I flip over my facedown royal decree here's where the fun begins mate. Then I play lightning vortex and discard valkryion the magna warrior. Then I play my facedown polymerization to fusion summon Arcanite Knght Joker now I attack you directly with Dark Paladin, Dark magician, buster blader, and Arcanite knight joker inflicting 11,800 lp dmage if i did the math correctly. then I end my turn with this field

I won because of a technicality?
I hate that.
That's weird, too, because when I removed the other copies of Graceful Charity, Pot of Greed, and Monster Reborn since they're limited, Change of Heart was one of the cards I was considering, but didn't pick it.

Isn't THAT against the rules?

 

You're allowed to redo your move if you didn't do it correctly. Have you been reading? I used mirror force when his target was changed so I had to redo my move.

 

When you flip over Royal Decree I flip over Seven Tools of the Bandit paying 1000 life points to prevent the use of Royal Decree then when you used Polymerization you received 1000 damage from Dark Eradicator Warlock's effect.



Then when you use Lightning Vortex I flip over Magic Jammer and discard my second Dark Magician stopping both Lightning Vortex and the attacks that follow it.




My turn. First I sacrifice my Skilled Dark Magician to play Dark Magician Girl who gains 600 attack points from my two Dark Magicians.




Then I play Double Spell discarding Soul Release from my hand to use your Lightning Vortex discarding a second Skilled Dark Magician from my hand to destroy all monsters on your field (I assume the effect of Arcana means it only stops cards which target itself alone) and since one of those cards is a Dark Magician then Dark Magician Girl's attack rises another 300 giving her 2900 and also does 1000 damage for the use of Double Spell and 1000 damage for the use of Lightning Vortex.






Then I attack you directly with Dark Magician Girl doing 2900 damage. Meaning a total of 4900 damage to your life points from my turn and 1000 from your turn.

I activated seven tolls of the bandit in response to your trap which cancels out magic jammer and I cancel out double spell with Dark paladin which cancels out your attack and your defending yourslef aga8inst lightning vortex which cancels out your whole turn
I attack again taking you down to zero

 

You hadn't discarded a card when you used Dark Paladin's effect. You need to do exactly what the card says and state it in full. I've noticed you tend to miss things like that off.

 

Well i've got cards to discard so i discarded so it's up to you to make a comeback like 3 kuriboh for example

 

Usually I'm supposed to be here to authorize it (you're only supposed to do it if your move was genuinely illegal), but in this case i wasn't here and the move was so blatantly illegal so there's no problem.

 

But you've violated the rules of the actual game from the original manual.
Besides how can I have a come back when you have apparently won?
I think we need someone to make sense of whether the rule breaking has actually interfered with the duel or not. So confused.

 

The only thing I did was activate mirror force. And kuriboh activates from your hand negating all damage from one monster each so you canh negate 3 out of the 4 attacks anyway

 

Kuriboh isn't in my deck. Or is it as I thought and you guys use any cards you feel like at any moment? I don't mind if I lose but I'm just making sure I'm not loosing unfairly.

Nope. My theme is mostly Dark Magician's and Spellcaster support.

 

You could use a Winged Kuriboh and reduce all damage to 0, but as you said, it's not in your deck.
You're not supposed to use just any cards, it's a predetermined deck, at least mine is.
That's the problem here, people can pull a random card out their ass.

 

Exactly. I think we should actually display our decks so we can prevent cheating, although it may mean some people will change their decks so they can beat their opponent.

 

We could probably have a side deck system where you could side in n out before matches.
