I chain your draw phase with limiter removal, ring of destruction and ring of defense in that order and that brings you to zero

 

I thought it only negated the damage from the player using it otherwise there's no use for that old combo. In most games i\this would work. They change the rulings or something?

EDIT: it would work if I activated ring of defense once the damage is dealt to Alerish if I could do that.

 

No, it makes the effect damage from that card 0. It never specifies effect damage to you. Also the damage is dealt to both players at the same time so no loophole to be found there.

The anime breaks the rules all the time. Check your combos.

There are no TCG rulings but the OCG rulings say specifically that the combo would negate dabage to both players.

Personally I would allow him to replace those cards because he set them under the assumtion that the combo worked in a a way they didn't.

 

Since pyro was too lazy to actually look up a combo that was used in the anime to see if it would work, I'm going to go ahead and say that he is not allowed to redo his move.

My deck is Dragon/machine theme just so you know. I activate heavy storm and another heavy storm and another heavy storm and set one facedown
I play dragon/s mirror again to special summon Five headed god dragon then I play pot of greed and play lightning vortex and discard cyber ourorbours now I attack you directly bringing you to 3000

well i prbably lose anyway so rematch since It wasn't really fair that i didn't get to redo my turn

 

Hey pyroKyle, I know a way to modify that combo of yours!You should've tried activating Barrel Behind The Door in that chain instead of Ring of Defense!
