Dang...I just realized something...If Mimiru had prohibited Hanewata instead of Double Fusion in that FTK and came out and said that she activated Chaos Emperor Dragon's Effect that combo she used really would've been unblockable and unbeatable...

And that as you should be able to see is a VERY GOOD reason to Ban FTKs from this Arena. Because they are supposed to be based completely on sheer luck in real life. With there being no concept of luck here and just automatically having the ability to beat your opponent in one move without even giving them a turn is completely unfair.

Also, I don't know what kind of crazy liquor you girls are drinking but The Envoys effects do NOT activate on their own. So that means her move was invalid in more than one way.

Um, Xakota...Aqua is a girl...But I gotta admit though, That really did look like she ripped off your combo...

 

Its a shame she only did that to limit the cards played. Think down to EVERY card used by Yami Yugi.

 

I use 1 spell counter to destroy the second to the left facedown in the s/t zone
I activate my trap card needlebug nest and my other facedown backup soldier to retrieve Right leg of the forbidden one, left leg of the forbidden one, and right arm of the forbidden one. Now I play and activate cathedral of the nobles and now I activate another needlebug nest now i play and activate another backup soldier to retrieve left arm of the forbidden one, exodia the forbidden one and gamma the magnet warrior. soooooo I win if not I set one facedown

 

This move needs to be countered and it probably will

 

If I'm not mistaken, instant victories fall under "Unbeatable cards"

And backup soldier requires non-effect monsters (not sure why they didn't just say normal) but Exodia the Forbidden One contains the instant victory effect.

 

thanks for pointing that out. Aqua you have to redo your move. you can't get the forbidden one back from the grave like that
@Mixt it can be beaten aka soul release, card destruction and deliquent duo

 

soul release is counter exodia necros. It does almost nothing against regular exodia.

I won't push that rule though. It's too vauge for me to judge, I'll leave it to Jaden since its his rule.

I attack once with Judgement Dragon and once with Magna Drago, 4400 damage.

and now i activate my last facedown card, urgent tuning


to tune Magna Drago to JD and synchro summon Trident Dragion


now i use his effect, I'll destroy the facedown card i set earlier, and he can attack once more this turn.

So i'll attack you with him directly twice, for 6000 damage.

thats a total of 10400 this turn.

I win.

 

oh well you wanna duel Kyle now? And I'd like to point out you went out of your deck theme because prohibition and synchro monsters aren't a lightsworn theme

 

1.) bullshit, prohibition is an incredibly splashable card, and every modern deck uses synchros.
2.) I'm not going to have YOU who stole MY combo whine about me 'going out of my deck theme'.

 

we've got a thread dating back to May showing a combo like this. Not to forget that I submitted a combo like this 2 years ago the beckett yugioh magazine which these guys are tournament officials. Using synchros still goes against the deck theme or i'd be using them. Also I only used 1 card out of a combo you did when you ripped the Makyurta combo against jaden a long time back which was used to take Jaden out of 1st place

No, syncrhos does not go against the deck theme. every single competent deck splashes synchros into it. Don't really give a **** what you say.
