so its effect wouldnt take place...
which means it wouldnt work...

 

all out attacks would have been sent to the grave. De-fusion would work though, if you chained it to FF's destruction effect.

 

Yea, so If I defuse it the moment it's summoned, it wouldn't send my cards away.

its not negating its effect so its effect still happens...cuz it WAS summoned...

 

no, it would, but if you chain de-fusion to FF after everything has been sent, you can still get your five monsters.

Wait. Explain. I can chain with De-fusion, but I still lose my All-Out Attack? What tollishness is this Konami?

De-fusion is a quick-play spell, if you had it in your hand you could use it after everything on the field was sent to the grave.

 

The trap included?

he means you can only chain with De-fusion if you have it in your hand...
a trap which is face down would have been sent to the grave since even if you chain de-fusion to the summoning of Overdragon...
it would still send all cards to the grave since De-fusion doesnt negate its effect...
you dont choose to activate its effect so its effect activates RIGHT AFTER it touches the field.
all out attack would have been sent before it could activate.

 

actually, while it does activate first, because chains resolve in reverse order, the turn player's mandatory effects are the last things to actually resolve.

 

*sigh* Oh well. Replace fusion with Cyber End Dragon and I'm still happy.

Besides I already had an Overload fusion for it anyway.

 

even if he chained with all out attack it would have been pointless since its a continuous effect...
so its effect would go poof anyways xD
