actually, I destroy three face-down dark coffins, so unless you want to negate all three with your three face-downs, you lose dodger, although you could obviously still recover and win.

 

I can lose dodger but then I can monster reborn it *trollface*
then direct attack you for -1900 damage.
I negate everything else you have in your hand with my 2 other face downs and OTK you next turn.

correct, but I just saw an easy way to stop this before it hasa chance to really start.. if you set five face-downs,

chain chalice on LaDD, chain Macro Cosmos to stop Hero Medal and Dark Coffin, have two remaining face-downs.

 

You people never listen to reason or logic and I'm not going to risk this thread getting locked and/or me getting a warning or infraction so I'm just gonna stop this senseless argument right now.

LADD is unhealthy for this arena and needs to be Banned.

 

agreed, but it's still fun to think about counters for, and there's a difference between "should be banned" and "unbeatable."

First off, everyone stop raging.

Would you rather sit there and try to defeat LaDD by means of having it constantly negate stuff, then hit it while it's ATK is down instead? I wouldn't. I'll take a -3 that's normal for any Hero Deck than a -5 for any deck.

When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, select 1 monster in your Graveyard. Then destroy all cards you control, and Special Summon that monster.

Your opponent's face downs have been popped. Especially seeing as they would HAVE to Tribute Summon LaDD, they would always have a monster in the grave that would be forcefully revived.

For god's sake, calm down. When you call a card broken, someone is going to have a differing opinion to share. It's card discussion. It's normal.

To be entirely honest, I'm personally happier than you went with something other than a bunch of Jars Of Greed and Waboku. In nearly every duel I play in, Waboku/T-Roar always shows up here.

You need to better back up your argument though, because you didn't pull a troll move.

In the end, for NRD, sure, LaDD is kinda broke. But God, you people act like it's Quasar here. It isn't entirely Arena Banworthy. Limitworthy, maybe. It's beatable, and your opp wastes a bit of advantage in the end to Tribute Summon LaDD too. At least they don't wind up with a field that has 4 nearly unstoppable monsters with about seven cards in their hand.
