The only way I could ever do that was with two words, "card stacking" and the results can be pretty bad if caught.

 

I started playing sometime back in 2008. I just think hard before I make a move.

Am I missing something? When and how did Kaiba and Lawrence start Dueling?

 

Yeah I know. But it gets lonely dueling yourself so many times. Countering yourself during a play isn't really practice. My sister used to duel with me. But when she stopped, she handed all her cards to me.
So, I've been riding solo ever since.

How exactly is it even POSSIBLE to Duel yourself?

you can play chess with yourself but you dont think you can duel with yourself? o.0..

@Jaden: I never said it was affective. But the results can be interesting. Even if they are random draws.

 

Well, it's strange, but you can get two decks (or split your deck in half) then play it just like a regular duel, only you become your opponent too. You basically do everything in your power to screw yourself over, it's very confusing and frustrating, and you really don't learn anything other than the occasional (hey that actually worked).

 

But you can't clone yourself so who's gonna be at the other side of the table and using the other deck?

dueling yourself with another deck is actually good...
you can find out your strengths and weaknesses your deck has and also create combos...
get to know your deck a little more every duel (with yourself.)
cuz you can see what mistakes you made and change them...making your move better so that in a real duel you can make the better choice.
its always good to know your decks combos before you start dueling with it.

 

Have you ever seen the Pixar skit with the old man in the park playing chess?

 

I see you cant think OUTSIDE the box...
you go to a table, set 2 decks on opposite sides of the table and go back and forth during each move.
