I am using my head, thank you very much. If it's no big deal in random draw duels, why would it be more powerful in a place where you can pick any draw you want?

Um, bro, if someone set 5 Counter Traps even without LaDD, that should be considered cheating on it's own since you set up a "Negate Everything" play.

That's what I used to think but not really. Dodger Dragon can easily be used to stop the threat of 5 facedowns.

Look, I should apologize for coming off as an ass, but I've seen a lot of people who get much more aggressive when someone speaks their mind in opposition. I don't want to see you turn out as someone like that, and I don't want to see you go over something silly.

I wasn't going to butter you up with nice words and encourage your leave like Axel with a promise to duel you again one day, I wanted to make my point and keep you here.

 

some cards are much more powerful in non-random, but it's a matter of "how do I use it more efficiently?" vs. "how do I beat it?" if you use "7" there is a massive amount of "how do I use it more efficiently?" so it becomes much more powerful, vs. very little "how do I beat it?" to counter-balance it's increased power. With LaDD, it negates everything, so there's not a lot of "how do I use it more efficiently?" But it's a powerful card that sticks around, so there's a good bit of "how do I beat it?" to counter-balance and stop it from becoming much more powerful, or to even make it less powerful.

I just noticed something really cool.

Summon Dodger Dragon.

Activate a random Quick-Play Spell to trigger LaDD's effect. Then chain Forbidden Chalice in response to it. It's effect can only be used once per chain so you'll have it beaten then.

However, It's still perfectly possible to create an unbeatable combo with that card.

In non-random, "How do I beat it?" is the question for LaDD.

I do admit, it is fairly easy to make it with LaDD, but it's still not flat out unbeatable. We've successfully established this.

But the same could be said for Quasar.
It's up to you, but I still say we should just limit LaDD instead of completely banning it.

 

Beating LaDD in random is no big deal at all. I've done it before. I can't remember how the first time but the 2nd time I used Super Polymerization.

 

doesn't need to be a quick-play, you can use fissure as the first card, and then you've spent two cards to destroy their entire field.

 

Well yeah, Super Poly rapes everything.

jaden once wanted to stop dueling and i fought for him to stay and keep dueling
but he still left dueling but he came back
so yes i support him leaving cause maybe if we stop the arguments he will come back
its his decision im not going to make him do something he has no fun in anymore
its not like he is giving up dueling

 

you can super-poly it in non-random too. you can super poly it discarding cards to miracle fuse later.

 

If he's quitting, he's giving up on the Arena. Something that, thanks to his dedication, has made it to version seven. That's at least 30000+ posts

I know he's still dueling, and I know he'd come back eventually. But why let him leave just as simply as that anyway? Eliminate the problem that made him even think about it completely.

 

But Jaden...
if someone uses an unbeatable combo with LaDD they would still lose cuz of the "no unbeatable combo" rule...
just saying...there is already a rule that sorts that out.

That would only give us more reason to leave it banned and not have any discussion on it at all.
