    Why would it? It says it changes the effect of the opponent's card to that, so it does still work...

    I was gonna go ask my mentor but thanks for clearing that up.

    There is absolutely nothing broken about that card. And sometimes that's the only way to prevent yourself from getting eaten alive by the opponent's facedowns.
