You don't have to use Synchros, up until recently I'd never used them before. If it were to be similar to mako's it could be quite powerful.

who? I haven't gotten that far in 5D's yet. That, and I wanted to try making a synchro deck, but the problem is, I haven't gotten used to them, and I really only use them in my WC 2010 because they're easier to use in that
