    Joey, you don't actually need to attack. he destroyed all of your monsters with Raigeki, and battle mania only effects monsters currently on the field.

    You mean Egyptain God Joey, and I do not negate it, but as SinFred says, you don't have to attack but, if you don't summon a monster, you're pretty much blasted with direct attacks.

    Joey, Why in the HELL would a card exist that makes you have no choice but to summon a monster and attack that turn? It's not your fault if you don't have the resources to summon a monster that turn or your monsters got destroyed by a card effect.
