how does setting another card down make MST miss? o.O...

 

I've had thoughts about quitting for awhile now. I'm sick of this. I feel like I'm a parent or teacher who has to deal with a bunch of stubborn bratty children. It was bad enough back when you guys argued with me and wouldn't listen to me. But NOW you've even sunk as low as to be so cheap as to kill me before I can even do DO anything...Sure, I had chances when I could've done this same thing to some of you guys earlier but did I? No I didn't. And do you know WHY I didn't? Because that would've made the Duel one-sided and unfair and boring. And if you people truly consider a cheap way to win like that worth it then I seriously have no idea what to say to you...And when you people see what Fred did most of you are just gonna do it too. I know you will. I'm sorry but that's no fun. You people make me sick. You really do. I don't have a problem with losing. I take my losses like a man. But I shouldn't have to lose like THAT every time I Duel...It just isn't fair. It wouldn't even matter if who I was Dueling was a better player than me or not. If they did that they'd always beat me. And that isn't fair. I'm ashamed that I've even Dueled in the same circuit as some of you. I'd like to Duel and hang out with you guys but no, you're just too thick. I have put very hard work in trying to make this place fun for everybody but all I get is disrespect in return. I want you people to know why I left this Arena and that I had good reasons to do so.

Hey I accept my losses when i duel and lose, hell, I think you were the main reason I wnated to duel here in the first place, besides, I know I can't always win so I just accept what happens. I even respected you as a fellow DUelist and actually glad I got to duel someone else who knows so much about the game and give potenial new ideas to decks such as your E-Hero deck focused on stealing the opponents monster a Fusion thus putting them in a bind, in the real world.

 

MST's target is gone, so it can't do anything.

I seriously agree with this.Not that it matters with me,cause I'm a lesser in the arena.I'm glad the arena is alive again...but not like this...I miss Marik and all the old guys'
They didn't copy moves from each other,nor did they show off by not even giving the other opponent a chance.Seriously Nemesis?(Or Brooklyn,can't remember)
You used an impossible deck against me.Not only that,but all of you (Mainly Nemeses and and Brooklyn and sometimes Droid)You use somewhat of the same strageteys.

Well I never do that to anyone, not like I actually could..I've had that done to me on numerous occasions, I haven't left yet though. I would love it if this place was like how you envisioned it, but cheap combos appear to be the new cool thing. With that I have to agree with you, best wishes. (although this place will most likely crash and burn soon)

@Terra When did I ever do that?? The only time I've gotten close was when I used Ring of destruction once against Jaden(which he easily countered, I was just wondering how he could do that, I hate cheap dueling).

*sigh* OK, you seem to be forgetting something: this is YOUR Arena, and YOU'RE in charge of it. You're the one who controls the rules and the banlist to keep things like this from happening.



If you see something unfair happening, you don't just mope around and leave! You work to fix it and keep things balanced for everyone!



Also, if you look closely, most of the problems with these cheap combos is Ring of Destruction. I suggest that it should be banned.

EDIT: Or perhaps a limit on Prohibition is in order.

 

Well, I just type what I felt was right, besides, you are truly one Duelist that I enjoyed facing off against, trying to see how I could counter you but you'd always have a back-up plan that didn't cross my mind and for all those moments against you, I thought. "This feels like I'm duelling against Jaden from the anime himself, now I want to try and see if I beat Jaden's deck at it's unleashed state in this Arena? It won't be an easy challenge!"

Okay lame, I know but I actually enjoy duelling against you, hell, you said I'm probably the coolest the 20 year old to play this game, I literally laughed a little at that, your flattery that time didn't get you anywhere mister, but I do consider you as much as a rival as well... -rubs chin- Joey here, he's also a great Duelist, if I lose against anyone, I will make them my rival and see how far I can improve, if I beat them, sure, I got what I wished for but I'd take any rematches they want.

If you people really want me here then why don't you ever listen to me? And why do you guys seem to almost always ignore me whenever I say I'm open to a duel?

And I said that I won't be Dueling anymore. I'll still be here to update the banlist and answer questions.

 

ok im still confused here...wouldnt setting another card down on opponents turn be useless since you cant actviate it on turn set?...
and yes I have been like...the king of cheapness in this arena...
but since there are a number of possabilities of me being attacked by a cheap move myself...I have to use the same amount of cheapness to counter theirs...
and thats probably why I stopped dueling here xD
people are cheap...not just me...but if your going to go 100% on a duel how else would we be able to duel without a random card draw? >_>
we HAVE to go easy on someone cuz we know all of us can have the power to pull of a cheap combo xD its not random draw here...
and since im not the kind of person to ever go easy on someone...thats what I do...
it has been kinda boring in this arena though...but I wont call out names like how Terra did xD (seriously that was kinda rude and I think teachers dont call out names in class for the same reason.) without the random draw rule...its hard to duel without using cheap shots...not unless be killed by a cheap shot...

 

I said it so they can improve.They know we don't like it so instead of whining about how we don't like it/aren't it go and fix it.

maybe they just don't feel like dueling you. Not everyone has to duel every open person. Heck, I'm free most of the time, and I don't complain about dueling. But I digress. If you really want to quit I'm not stopping you. Don't expect symphathy out of me, I don't give much sympathy to anyone
