A rematch would be appreciated, since I was really having fun there.
Guess I need start using the cards we have access to... I'm used to the current irl banlist, which is why I never really pulled any combos with Mirage Of Nightmare or other stuff like you do. xD

Before I duel you again, Jay, I wanna test my skills against someone else.

 

Yeah, I've noticed how you don't seem to ever use Banned Cards unless your opponent does it first. Mirage of Nightmare is pretty overpowered and I think that I should probably Ban it in The Duel Arena.

For those of you who don't know: The discarding part of Mirage of Nightmare is an effect not a cost. So technically Dark World is the most powerful Deck in The Arena with that thing running around...>.>

 

Guess I need to stop being such a wuss and just use 'em, huh?

First, I activate Future Fusion.



So I send from my deck to my Graveyard 3 White Stones of Legend, Stardust Xiaolong, and Darkblaze Dragon and select Five-Headed Dragon!









And, since I sent 3 White Stones of Legend to the Graveyard, I can add 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my hand!

Next, I use Reload!



So I send my entire hand back into my deck and redraw a new one of 7!

Now, I use Graceful Charity.



So I draw 3 cards and discard Lord of Dragons and Divine Dragon Ragnarok.




And then, I activate Dragon's Mirror!



So I remove from play my Lord of Dragons and Divine Dragon Ragnarok...




And Fusion Summon King Dragun!



And then, I use his effect to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my hand.



And now, I use my Darkness Metal Dragon's effect to Special Summon Darkblaze Dragon from my Graveyard!



And, since he was Special Summoned from the Graveyard, his new ATK and DEF become 2400 and 2000!

And now, I place 3 cards facedown.



And I end my turn.

That's against the rules, isn't it?

 

Like Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity? Pot of Greed shouldn't be Banned anyway. All it does is let you Draw 2 Cards which can help you get out of jams and give you quicker access to what you need. It's not that cheap.

I remember when I first learned about Konami banning that card I was like: "WTF??? You've gotta be shitting me! That card is a staple! And it's mandatory for every Deck! Somebody PLEASE tell me this isn't true!"

Pot Of Greed was banned because it was a staple and a costless +1. Seeing as everyone would use it though, I'm wondering why it isn't at least limited.

I do agree that it should be Limited yes. It's a fair and balanced card at 1. But if it's at 2 or 3 THEN it's broken.

It was a fun card to use and a fun card to play against back when it was Limited. Banning it was overkill in my opinion.
