Nobody is sharing the same field. I'm activating Heavy Storm on Fearless/Hoau's Field not yours. She is currently the biggest threat so I thought I would try to take her out first.

This would affect my backfield too though. Except I currently have nothing in my backfield so no harm will come to me.

EDIT: Wait, I may be wrong...I don't really know the rulings on Tag Duels except the ones in the videogames...

Well, Heavy Storm says it destroys all spell and trap cards on the field, not your opponents field, so I assume it affects everyone.

 

I know that it affects both players Fields in a Normal Duel. But I just wasn't sure about a Tag Duel or Free For All Duel...

 

Maybe we should ask like, Bushido, or someone.
