Who remember's the love that was called The X-Files? Shmexiest show I'd ever seen, and now it's being turned into a movie. Those who've watched the series know of it's intensity and pwnsomeness. The tune still gives me chills. 8D The release date is July 25th, '08, and the trailer seems pretty awesome as well. Who'll go see it?

I saw the trailer for this today in fact, n' i'll more than likely go see it since i love the show, n' i want to know what is happenin' with those bodies! I'm not too keen on the whole lovey dovey bewteen Mulder n' Scully, though.

It was weird to see that Billy Connolly was in it, since he is more of a comedian than anythin'.

I have been reading a lot of reviews and interviews for this film and I actually can't wait D:

omfg I used to spend hours watching that show even though it did somtimes used to really creep me the hell out and once when I was a kid I got banned from watching it because it gave me nightmares >___>

xDDDD I cannot wait for this @_@

I will definitely be watching it, for nostalgia if nothing else xD

I swear though if they **** it up I will not be a happy bunny D:

Seriously . . . I loved the show as a child, and it was the only show that scared the heck out of me too, erm, next to Hercules [the series, and don't ask :sweatdrop:]. But The X-Files, oh boy, I really can't wait. <33 This will definitely take me back to my childhood. >_< And I really want to know what's the mystery behind the bodies too. O8

But I could've sworn that Scully and Mulder had a kid together in the series. O.o' Or am I being delusional?

Ack, I'm so seeing this. I agree though, I don't like the lovey dovey Mulder and Scully. (lol) I hope they don't screw this up. The show is amazing, so the movie must follow. D: And please God, do not have Doggit in it, even for a minute.

AGREED! Doggit was a terrible sub for Mulder. They should've ended it after he left. The show went down hill once he took over.

D8 What?! There was a switch between Mulder and some dude named Doggit?? I guess I missed this bit. >_< The X-Files is NOTHING without Mulder. He just pwns. No Doggit can take Mulder's place.

    It comes out tomorrow. <333

Aye, Mulder was the father of Scully's baby, but he wasn't there for that season. The X-files had lost the plot by then.

I am eager to see this movie. X-Files was a great show with a very long run and the first movie was pretty good. I am hoping the second though gets back to some other paranormal than just the aliens because I actually liked the show more when they were investigating other freaky stuff too. It should be good or I couldn't imagine them wanting to waste time on another movie.

And call me a sap but...I actually liked Mulder and Scully having some romantic interludes. It was hinted in the show at times and I could see why in the last movie it was there. I didn't mind it since really it almost seems neither will find someone else to be with because of their crazy lifestyles.

Ugh, I just came back from this movie. I didn't like it at all. Here, I'll just copy+paste what I wrote from my blog...

    Spoilers!

OH MY FECK DID X-FILES SUCK. ( no pun intended )

This is literally the worst X-Files puke I have ever seen. No, I don't religiously keep up with the series, but I do watch it from time to time. At least enough to keep up with it. I was skeptical of the quality of the movie going to the theater, but I was hoping to be proven wrong. I wasn't. Now, I'm not very up on the last few seasons -- I know Mulder was abducted or something, Doggit was a terrible sub for Mulder, Scully had a son ( and Mulder was the dad?! ) and some other bits and pieces. But still, this movie confused me and was horribly unfinished. The only positive was that Mulder owns and so does X to the Z Xzbit. Scully was irritating as always, so as you can see, I'm not blaming the quality of this movie on the actors. I thought they all did very well. it was the plot. First of all, I've seen Doggit episodes with better cases. This didn't even have any of Spooky Mulder's it's-an-X-file! rants. It was as if they made a movie with the same characters but left out what made the X-Files the X-Files.

I hated the ending. First of all, when did Mulder and Scully get all lovey dovey? It was as if they added in their relationship just so that they had some conflict for Scully. I was so confused when they were laying in bed together. I was like "uh... is this a dream or something?" Did I miss that in the series? And what happened to that lost agent? I felt that her death wasn't really explained. Mulder got that lead from her bracelet, but after that they seemed to focus entirely on pool girl. And when did Scully become epicly religious? If she was, would she be performing stem cell treatment on her paitient? And what did happen to her paitient?

To say the very least, I disliked this movie. A lot.

In other news, I'm wearing Shell's shirt and it's had an affect on my mood.

I've never seen the X-Files, but this movie looks cool. I'll have to check it out on DVD, so I have to watch the series before I see it.

Once again this movie was overhyped, and turned out to be a total letdown. I have closed my files already, but I, once again decided to open them again, and I wanted to shut them again after the beginning of the movie. Utter rubbish, DO NOT WANT

I wasn't a big fan of The X-Files, but I might see this to make up for it. o:

After readin' what Misty said i think i might just have to skip this incase i lose all love for the series. I knew there was gonna be some Mulder n' Scully lovin', but that much? Romance is better left out of the X-Files.
