Background (Go into detail please! The more, the better!)- Eleanor's mother is a Cylian who fell in love with a mortal man, later having a child in Ilianam where they live now. Eleanor grew up with her father not having much to with her: she was born knowing that she was different than the other human children around her. She could lift objects with her mind, sometimes hear the thoughts and emotions of plants around her, and, in one instance, tried to experiment with the elements… she wasn’t very good at it.

Her father wanted her to be normal, hoped that, despite the fact that his wife was a Cylian, their child would be more natural. Eleanor barely saw her father; he avoided her and rarely spoke to her. In her free time, her mother trained her to use her mental abilities properly, her telekinesis developed maturely by the time she was 25. Her mother also taught her how to master daggers to defend herself as the impending danger in their country grew.
She left home when she turned 50, not too old for a crossbreed, looking for any job that could earn her money. Eleanor soon got hired for jobs to get rid of those in the Lizard Clan that attacked small towns, and some Leechers that ventured into her way. She works with her daggers and mental powers, making money and a name for herself among the villages and their people.

Eleanor has a soft spot for humans, never having a good relationship with her father, she is kind to all that she meets. Hearing of the corruption in the kingdom, she wanders farther away from her home country of Ilianam in search for more work and to help those in need.
Appearance-

Eleanor wandered on the path just north of Trwin city, along the coast, looking up at the sun. Her eyes squinted as she focused on the clouds. Last night she had fought off a rather large amout of Lizards, her baldes still bloody since she had to run right after the battle to avoid more fights. The Mayor of Triwn owed her money for protecting his borders, and she intended to be paid today.

She knelt by the waves and pulled her daggers of her their sheaths on her sides, and lowered them into the waves, letting the sand and salt water bury the gorey weapons until they were clean.

 

"But what of the wounded and sick?" one person cried.

"What of the pregnant and little children?" another asked.

"And what of the elderly." Cried a third.

Tristan stared at the boy that he had seen twice now before answer. "Round up all the horses, wagons, and what not. Wounded and sick go stay in the Wagons. The pregnant, elderly and those too young to make the journey must ride horses. Double up if you must. Children can ride in threes.

"And what of the other villages?" Called out the Mayor.

Tristan frowned. He had hoped not to go into that. At least one village would have to be sacrificed in order to give them the time they needed for a proper counter attack. "We'll worry about them when we are safe."

OOC: humans have new ability. telekinesis

 

Aidou couldn't help the chuckle that escaped his lips. This fellow sure had a way with words. The crowd was unsettled, Aidou could tell. Perhaps someone would leave, and Aidou could get a quick meal so that he could focus more on Aduial than his hunger.

"What's the noise?" Aduial murmured, the sun and crowd having woken her. "Have you caused trouble, Aidou?"

"For once, no," Aidou answered. "Are you no longer tired?"

"I can manage," Aduial smiled, but it faded quickly. "Why are we in the sun?"

Aidou set the Cylian on her feet. "Don't worry about it."

Aduial lowered her voice, "But you can't see."

"Don't worry about it," Aidou repeated. "Listen to this crowd."

 

Eleanor stood a moment later, twirling her blades in the sun to dry the water off of them. "Now," she said to herself, turning back toward the path that led off the beach. "To get paid."

She walked for a little while until she reached the outskirts of the town. Shielding her eyes once more, she saw a large group gathered in the center of the village. Hmm, she thought. This is unusual...

Eleanor walked up tot he edge of the crowd, her eyes locking on a couple standing very close in the sun. The man had his eyes shut, which she could understand; the morning glare was very strong.

"Excuse me," she began, stepping forward and tapping the girl's shoulder from behind. Eleanor could tell she was probably full-blooded Cylian by her ears and youthful face. "Could you tell me what's going on here?"

 

As he ran through the fields, heading northward towards Triwn, Lanan hoped they had a good market. If I'm lucky, maybe a steel-molding Cylian lives there and can mold me better bolts! His thoughts quickly shifted to the Cylian who had been staying with the farmer; he cursed himself for not staying to inquire if that Cylian could mold Steel. Maybe I'll head back after I check out that town. I hope I have enough money to buy a decent amount of bolts...hopefully someone'll recognize me from the battle and reward me, he thought with a smile. I probably shouldn't have left the battle so early, though...

As he drew closer to the town, he noticed his shoulder was still hurting. He stopped running and looked at the shoulder the Lizard bit the night before. The blood was drying and scabbing, it was definitely going to leave a scar. His back was still hurting from being scratched as well. Muttering his hatred of Lizards, Lanan continued his journey towards the town.

 

Becka noticed the boy leaving and started running after him. "Hey!" she yelled

 

Aduial turned to see who it was that addressed her. "I'm not really sure. Sorry. We're only travelers."

Aidou opened his eyes at the voice of the newcomer. "Actually, they're discussing the raid of this past night." He answered after Aduial had spoken. His ice blue eyes turned gray in the sun's light.

 

Get messagers, and send a group to each nearby town! , said Trenyan.
They'll never want to leave their homes! responded the mayor.
When they hear that you did, perhaps they will too. And when teh Lizards strike once more, surely they'll understand. Waste no time!
As the people started moving, and the mayor sent orders, Trenyan was suddenly approached by a young boy. The boy handed him a letter, then tried to leave.
Wait! Who gave you this?, asekd Trenyan. But the boy ignored him. Trenyan wanted to follow, but the boy was engulfed by the crowd.

He was about to read the message, but he suddenly remembered. The Shaper! The crowd was already moving. Trenyan went to find the Shaper he'd been searching.

 

He had almost reached the town when Lanan heard a faint yell behind him. He turned around and in the distance, towards the farmer's home, someone was running after him, waving. He squinted his sharp eyes and noticed it was a young Cylian girl. Maybe that's the Cylian who stayed with the farmer, he thought. He might as well see what she wanted. He backtracked in her direction, she wouldn't be able to catch up to him otherwise.
I wonder if I'm ever going to get to enter the town!, he thought.
He approached the girl. She had long blonde hair and had the appearance of young girl. Of course, he could tell she was almost as old as he wasy in Cylian years. Due to his Wolf side, Lanan wouldn't live as long as most Cylians...
He looked her up and down before asking, "What do you want?"

 

"Oh, I see," Eleanor replied, nodding. "I wish I could have been there. What are you two traveling for?"

 

"Are you going to the town?" Becka asked the boy

 

"Information," Aidou answered before Adiual could. "This war has affected all reaches of life. But that doesn't mean that there has to be a bloody end to it."

Adiual tried to mask her frown. Aidou was a good lier, she'd give him that.

 

"Yes, I need to pick up supplies for my travels." Lanan replied to the young girl. Without giving her time to say anything else, he asked, "What natural element can you mold?"

 

OOC: Actually, I never left. :p

BIC: As the crowd went to make preparations, Tristan frown at the boy. "You shouldn't have said that, boy. Sometime sacrifice is necessary in war. We needed all the time we could get to prepare for battle. chances are, that the messengers won't even make it alive. That's a waste of a horse right there. You've just made things more difficult. Rations will be more spread out now." Tristan sighed before patting the boy on the shoulder and smiling. "However, Your heart was in the right place. In war, you also have to improvise."

 

Eleanor shook her head. "Sorry, I've got to disagree there," she replied, her eyes scanning the crowd for the mayor. "Some of us, unfortunately, live off the war... make a profit of it. It's not the best way of living, but it's good enough."

 

Aidou looked towards the newcomer, his gray eyes peircing. "Nice to know."

Adiual laid a hand on Aidou's arm. "Maybe we should go."

 

"A... sacrifice. Hm. Yeah, right. You do realise this village is completely defenseless, save for those improvised warriors? And that all villages nearby are just as defenseless? If we don't spread the news, it's gonna be more than just a few horses that'll be wasted!

That's more than my heart acting. That's my logic, too."

Trenyan went silent for a brief second.
"And you mention war. War, war, and war again. As far as I know, this was just an unfortunate raid. Sure that the Lizards attacked several times, but many raiders strike back, when the townspeople celebrate their victory.
Why so wuick to say there's a war going?

What do you know that we do not?"

 

"Um water? Why?" she said looking at him suspiously.

 

"Sorry to keep you, maybe I'll see you around," Eleanor said, stepping away from the couple and moving into what was left of the crowd. She spotted the mayor and stopped in front of him.

"Oh!" the mayor started when he saw Eleanor next to him. " didn't expect to see you here yet."

"Things went better than expected last night," Eleanor replied, holding out her hand. "I'll just take the gold, please. I have some things I need to buy."

"Where's the proof, Miss McKynley?" the mayor replied. "You usually have such means so I know the amount to pay. At least, that's what all the others say about you."

"Should I have kept my blades bloody?" Eleanor snapped, a little angrily. "I could give you a demonstration of how the two dozen Lizards were finished if you like."

"No, no," the mayor insisted, taking a bag of gold out of his pocket. "Here you are... just keep up your good work."

Eleanor took the money and thanked him. "I need a new job," she insisted before the mayor could leave. "Is there anyone hear that I could speak to? Locations, those that need protecting? I'll take any job."

"There is one man that joined here lately," the mayor replied. "He stayed at the inn last night, the big important one that was speaking earlier. I'm sure he'd take hired help in his endeavors."

"Thanks," Eleanor replied. "I'm sure I'll find him."

 

Tristan sighed and thought up a quick lie that was not so far from the truth. "I used to be a Solider from Ilianam. this isn't the first time I've seen such things happen."
