4 days ago, I picked up my copy of Subarashiki Kono Sekai (The World Ends With You), and after finally beating it today, I must say that this game is one of the most compelling, and enjoyable games I have ever played!

The story line is unique, and has more twist and turns than an M. Night Shyamalan movie!

The graffics are outstanding for the DS, although I do wish that I was able to skip through the cutscenes I had already watch BEFORE I finshed the game...

The battle system is fresh, original, and really give your reflexes a work out.

I just wish that there was more to continue on after I finished...
*SPOILERS!* I mean, there was just so many un-answered questions... like:

    Who IS Mr. Hanekoma?
Why did it say, "7 days later" after beating the game before the credits and ending? Did that mean that Neku had to play the game a FOURTH time?!
How was Rhyme able to come back?
Whose the new Composer, if it's not Beat or Neku?
What happend to Joshua, and the other reapers, like Kariya and Yashiro?

I realise that you can go back and reply eah day to earn reprts that will give you the background story, but it just seems like a tidious task to me, and I'll probably wait a few days until I attempt any of them.
    *SPOILERS!*

In the end, it's a very good game, with an amazing soundtrack, upbeat graffics, and a fast-paced battle system the will keep you on your toes... or should I say fingertips?
The story line it's self would be enough to keep you hooked to your DS for days! (I found myself speed-runnning a bit at the end just to find out what would happen next.)

Ya its a little short but this game is (In my opinion) the best game on the DS so far . It has an amazing story , awsome graphics , endless amounts of attacks , sweet charactor design , fun gameplay , and diffrent difficulties...

thats why its the best game on the DS(Opinion) :3

I completely agree with you there! Plus, once you get the other difficulties, you can change them whenever you want.

    Nope, that's false.

*spoilers* but you do get a new phone item where you can play through any chapter with all your pins. And you can fastforward through cutscenes by holding L and R *spoilers*

I wouldn't call it short at all, my first playthrough took me over 30 hours to beat just the main story. And after you beat the game, there's a multitude of bonus content to unlock, things to collect, bonus stories to hear/read, that will easily last you another 10 or more hours.

    *SPOILERS*

    1. Read the Secret Reports and you'll find out. But if you really want to know, I'll give you the bare minimum info, to motivated you to read the reports: Mr. H is an Angel, he descends from the Highground (The opposite of the Underground) and acts as the "Producer" in The Game, his job is to help Players succeed, and is also the Muse of Shibuya, he works towards influencing the people of Shibuya to do great and creative things and better the city (which is why he was CAT)

    2. This isn't explained, but it might have been in the Secret Reports, which I haven't gotten all of them yet.

    3. Rhyme was brought back to life because Joshua restored Shibuya and gave everyone a second chance. The Game between Joshua and Megumi was to decide the fate of Shibuya, whether the city had a right to exist any longer and whether it's people had any hope. At the start of The Game Joshua had the intent to completely destroy the city, but his time with Neku showed him differently, Neku showed Joshua that Shibuya was full of hope, and it's people deserved to exist. By the end of the Game, when it came to a duel between Neku and Joshua, even in the face of losing everything Neku wouldn't hold his gun against Joshua, so Neku lost. But as Joshua said before the duel, he had already decided for himself what he wanted to do: he knew that he wanted to give Shibuya another chance.

    4. Joshua is still the composer, Joshua won the duel, so as explained above, Joshua remained composer and allowed Shibuya to exist.

    5. Considering Rhyme was brought back to life, I'd assume that Joshua returned the Reapers to existence as well.

    *SPOILERS*

Actually it's true, that's what happens after you beat the game, though it's worded a little iffy, that's pretty much what happens.

I survived most of the game with 4...never knew....

And I always only had 3 for attacks...the 4th was used on that soda bottle xD

And I beat the game on mostly normal too xD
So I am pretty good since it was my first playthrough xD

Not really, I think you can pretty much beat the entire game on Hard at lvl 1 except for the Week-End Bosses...atleast that's what I did =\

Also, Peace Full and Healing Whale are better than Cure Drink.
