Thanks Hubba, and I'm finishing it up now. If no one posts before the story, then check a couple of time for the submerged post chapter update.

Yes, Sora will meet up with your OC. Not in this chapter, since I'm almost finished with it. Definatly the next. Let's just say he was there, because of last chapter's mission he had to be.

I'll make it easier on everyone..xD

Can't wait to see if I'm in this one! If I'm not, I don't honestly care...to be frank, alot of the main focus has been more on me than anyone else 0_o...I say this not being bighead, I just get this idea from the fact I pretty much have the only dialouge between Rif and Base, as Rif hardly speaks, and I think I have more instances of appearance and dialouge than most other OCs.....

I don't wanta be in the limelight! xD I just want to be balanced in the story!....But if Xaale really wants to focus on Base.....>>...<<....xD....I don't mind.....

Believe me, everyone has their big part where they build up a reputation in the story and then they play their part, afterwards fading down a bit. Next, you will see Andrew and Angel play their big part.

    ON ANOTHER NOTE (PLEASE READ):

Last night, my dad was cleaning out the files on Microsoft Word. I was looking for the chapter, but he deleted it. I'm much less motivated to re-type it, and I'm sorry. I remember the basics of the chapter, so it won't take as long. You can expect it up tomorrow.

    Sorry D:

Well Spank you, spank you very much. Jim Carey is by far one of my biggest influnces when
it comes to comedy. Adam Sandler and Jerry Lewis are others. But then again, those are
just my comedy influences of course....but enough about me, let's talk about Base....
    who is...techincally....me.......

Are any OC characters going to be erased? Don't have to say who, I just
want to know if any will. It's a just a "Yes" or "No".

    Chapter 3:

Sora woke up, face down on something warm, rough and very uncomfortable. Looking up, he saw that he was lying in a very quiet park near a tunnel laced with graffiti. A few people were walking around, but otherwise the keyblade master and Kairi were alone. They weren’t players, obviously, because they hadn’t noticed the two lying there. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

Sora turned over to lay on his aching back, but he felt something cold, circle-shaped and of a miniscule size brush against his arm. He moved his tired eyes to look at a small, golden pin with a pattern resembling a key on it. It looked exactly like the one Lexeaus had crushed, and somehow it had come back. Yawning, Sora didn’t really want to think about it right now. He picked up the pin and put it in his stash, and then to his sunset-red haired friend Kairi.

Kairi opened her eyes and blinked when Sora shook her softly. She then blushed a deep crimson, almost as red as her hair. Standing up, Kairi took her handbag and swung it at an unsuspecting Sora, who missed the pink little purse by an inch.
Sora rubbed a hand behind his head, trying to hide how flustered he was. “S-sorry,†he muttered under his breath. Kairi let a sigh escape her thin lips, and then she turned to Sora. “Yeah, okay. You kind of scared me there, hahaha…â€

After both of them had recovered from the awkward incident, Sora took a better look at his surroundings. Pine and dogwood trees were dotted around the lush green grass of the park, glistening with the dew of the morning. It had been a while since Sora had seen grass in Shibuya, but he wasn’t surprised. Most cities had preserves or parks that were kept protected by the law.

Bubbling nearby caught the two young teens’ attentions. A fountain sprouting clear cerulean water was in the middle of the park, and past that fountain a foreign history museum rested, its pearly white columns showing a regal solemn feel in such a modern and bustling city.

Kairi put her hands together, chestnut eyes glowing as she said softly, “Well, this is such a cute place in such a graffiti filled, built-up city. Personally, I don’t like graffiti much…†Sora missed the cheerful Kairi, but alas her entry fee was the charm that had cheered Sora on through his journeys.

Sora put his hands behind his spiked hair and said quietly, “Eh, it’s okay to me. I kind of think it’s cool, and expresses a person’s real feelings and emotions.†Kairi blinked and shrugged, sighing, “Everyone has their own opinion. Do you think that Neku liked street art?†Kairi said, and then put her eyes’ focus on the ground. “Just a thought I had.â€

A screeching “plink†from both Sora’s and Kairi’s pocket caught their attention. Digging his gloved hand into the side of his pants, Sora pulled out a blue cell phone. The front light was flashing, and the text read, “New Text Message.†Sora flipped his phone’s front open and read softly to himself,

“Complete the riddle in the following text. You have 200 minutes. Fail and face erasure.

    -Organization XIIIâ€

Sora looked at Kairi and said, “Are you any good at riddles?†Kairi looked down, hair grazing her cheeks. Kairi murmured, “No, not really.†Sora shrugged and smiled, “Don’t worry; I’m sure you’ll be okay.†Another beep came from the phone, and Sora read the next message.

“Under the nailed cross, he signed his name, risking it all, to the country he believed all should be free.
In the Column statue, he stands with a feather pen in hand, the other in his trench coat pocket.â€

Sora’s mouth fell open in awe at the mission. It was most likely Zexion of the Organization XIII, who was a scholar and most literate. Kairi looked up at Sora and frowned, “Any idea what this means?†Sora shook his head, still surprised. He had not a clue of what the message meant. He sighed, and pocketed his cell phone.
A slicing pain shot into Sora’s hand, and looked down to see the engraved timer ticking away on his bruised palm. He sighed, and braced for the mission.

“What the hell?!?†A voice rang across the park, which Sora later found out was called “Miyashita Parkâ€, and bounced off the trees and over the roar of the fountain to Sora and his partner. Sora looked over to see a white cloaked man and a short, brown haired teen. The two were looking at the screen of a small, orange cell phone.

Sora didn’t remember them from the previous day; though for the mission to be complete they had to have been there. Sora walked towards them, the noise of cars blazing across the overpass nearby drowning out the other two peoples’ words.

Kairi was the first to talk when the made it to the two people. “Hi, are you two players?†The brown haired male looked up and his eyes met Kairi’s. He smiled, his teeth glinting in the light of the lukewarm Shibuya sun.
“Hi, I can see you two are players. You don’t have those black wings or cloaks, so I guess I can trust you. My name’s Mitch and this is-,†a hand from the white cloaked man swung through the air and slammed against the 13 year old’s mouth. He whimpered, but didn’t flinch at all. He took the hand in his own hands, and removed it from his mouth.

“What was that for,†he muttered, and was answered by a quiet voice, “It’s not good to reveal someone else’s name, let them make their own choice.†Mitch sighed, hunching his back over in an over dramatic way. He was obviously not that offended that he had just been slammed in the face and put down, but he still made a joke of it.

“Anyway, my name is Kespirin. I guess you heard me from wherever you were, because I hope it’s not too obvious that we are players. If any rebel Reapers go after players, I don’t want it to be us two. Though, personally, I hope that wouldn’t happen to anyone. Everyone has their own values.â€

Sora smiled and said, “You said it. I’ll watch out for you and so will Kairi if you ever need it. That’s what I do, and I don’t expect anything at all in return.†Kespirin smirked, and said, “Well then, that reveals so much about you. One, you are a trusting idiot. Two, you are my next friend.†He stuck out a hand to a bamboozled Sora, who returned the gesture. Kairi stayed silent the whole time, which made Sora feel even more flabbergasted. It was so weird to not have an outgoing girl always was ready to make a new acquaintance.

Mitch rubbed his arm and stood up straight. “Well, we were headed to Cat Street when we got the mission mail to get a cup o’ coffee. Want to come with us? It’s never too late for coffee.†Kespirin sighed and said, “Yes, would you? That is, if it’s even open. I hear all of these crazy rumors about the owner and why he disappears, even some say he goes to the UG, or Underground, where we are. When you go into a shop with the right symbol, you are brought back to life until you leave.â€

“Thanks, Captain Obvious.†Sora laughed at his own remark, surprised that it had come from his own mouth. “You do know I mean that in a nice way, right?†For the first time, Kespirin smiled and nodded.
While going over the overpass, Sora noticed Rif standing alone. He was tapping his foot, pins at the ready and sweat on his skin. He wasn’t nervous, though, and by the looks of it he was in a fight. Sora ran over to Rif and shouted, “Are you okay, Rif?â€

The man smiled, not that he was happy, and said, “Yeah, some ******* picked a fight with me because I was alone. I thought it was against the rules to pick a fight before the seventh day, but I guess if your partner dies that’s not true.â€

Sora was taken aback, and at the same moment Kairi and the other two had walked up. “You mean Base was erased?†Rif grimaced and nodded. “I was told by some black-haired man that I had to go to his café and he could help, but…â€

Mitch blinked, oblivious to what happened and said, “That must have been Mr. H. Yeah, that’s where we were headed. Want to come with us to his coffee shop…†Rif finished the sentence with his name, and Kespirin nodded. “Okay, let’s go.â€

The doors were unlocked at the small, homely café and the five walked inside. A tall, handsome man with jet black hair and small hairs that were a poor excuse for a beard showed on his face, which was instantly darkened when his black eyes rested on Rif.

“Okay, come quickly. Feel free for a cup of coffee, guys, for right now it’s on the house.†Mr. H then said, “By the way, my name is Mr. Hanekoma.†Sora nodded and sat down at a table. He took out his phone and went into his inbox, checking the message again.

“Under the nailed cross, he signed his name, risking it all, to the country he believed all should be free.
In the Column statue, he stands with a feather pen in hand, the other in his trench coat pocket.â€

It made no sense to Sora still, and at the moment it would have been the perfect time for Base Sebastian. Hopefully, Rif would be okay. If you lost your pact member, you only had seven minutes to live.

About ten minutes later, after pondering silently over a large cup of deep brown coffee which filled the room with a deep, delicious aroma, Kespirin decided to start a conversation. “So, how did you two meet?†Sora looked to Kairi, and then back at the blinding shade of white that was the cloak that the man wore.

“It was before we died, back at a place called Destiny Islands. I think it’s in another world then Earth…†Sora looked up and shrugged. “That’s probably why I have no idea what the mission is. I know very little about this world.â€

Mitch nodded, and then said, “So are you guys, like, a couple?†Sora blushed, and Kairi put her hand on her mouth and said, “I can’t believe you just asked that.†It was Mitch’s turn to turn a beet red. “Uh…sorry,†he mumbled.

The heat from blushing left Sora’s face and then he said, “No, it’s okay. I guess you could say that…†Mitch smiled and then looked away. “Yeah, I’m sorry about that.â€
Rif then came out, with an angry Mr. Hanekoma. “Damn it, why wouldn’t it work?†The owner of the WildKat café looked pretty mad, but somehow Sora couldn’t think of him as intimidating. Mr. H sighed and put a hand casually behind his head.

“Are you sure that Base was erased? You would’ve been dead by now…†Mr. H bore his eyes into Rif’s, but they were more comforting then demanding. Rif said flatly, “I saw it myself. I could describe it, but it’s a little disturbing. I mean, it’s not every day you see someone ripped apart by some vicious fox. That thing was mental, though. It turned into this giant dragon, and…something that looked like you-know-who, the guy Base told me about.â€

Mr. H’s eyebrows rose on his forehead, and Sora wondered if that movement of his lips was a smile or not. “Oh…then it must have been a Progfox. Those damn things are so rare, but they always seem to be at Miyashita Park. Was it on the overpass?†Rif nodded, and then grunted. “I can still fight without him. Let me at that Reaper that went after me, too. I think he said his name was Exxela.â€

Sora had never heard of an Exxela in the Organization. He wondered who this Exxela was and what his problem was. The bigger problem, though, was the mission, which Base could help them with. Rif was a good fighter, but he couldn’t leave the WildKat or else he could fall victim to the Reapers.

Sora stood up and shook hands with Mr. H, who bowed in return. Kairi, Kespirin and Mitch also followed, so Sora guessed they wanted to help, too. They left, leaving Rif alone with Mr. H in the café.

Going over the bridge that passed over Miyashita Park, Sora was still just as confused. A sudden noise caused them to turn around, and the cause of the sound was a Garage Wolf and two of its kin. The blue markings splashed on them, as well as the paper thin cobalt legs, gave the enemies an extremely intimidating appearance.

Mitch drew Ether from its holder, revealing a blade with a golden hilt and glowing energy similar to light in place of a metal blade. He swung forward and sliced through one of the Garage Wolf’s thighs, which caused it to stumble. The other two pawed at the ground and started to race towards the group. Sora took out three pins: Light, Keyblade and Fire Wall. He used Fire Wall to block the main intention of the speed/bite combo, but the bite was still very painful. Kespirin wasn’t fighting, only dodging around the attacking Garage Wolves.

Sora wanted to tell him to fight, but he was too busy wrestling a wolf, which was on top of him trying to bite as his face. Sora used Light, which sent a ray of energy right through the furry chest of the Noise. It disappeared in a cloud of pixels.

When the pixels cleared, Sora saw a figure running towards them. A lump appeared in Sora’s throat when he realized it was Rif, who must have left WildKat when Mr. Hanekoma’s back was turned. Rif shot blazing blue bullets from his hand, which erupted in the faces of the wolves. Both ended with the same fate as the first Noise.

Rif smiled and said, “Hell, I don’t know why I’m not dead but that means now I can fight. I need to avenge Base. I have to.†A small spark of determination appeared in Rif’s eyes, but it was quickly consumed by the unemotional cloudiness.

“Also, I don’t have to be a good writer to end my story. I’m not planning on dying to some Noise, not like Base. I think whatever Mr. H did is helping me stay alive, or the rule of dying in seven minutes has been “erased†just like Base.†Rif clenched a fist and then said, “Follow me, I have a short cut.â€

All of a sudden, an unexpected breeze picked up. A few bushes crackled and brown from growing in such a bad location such as the concrete of the overpass rustled, and a small piece of paper blew past the group.
A hand caught it, and then crumpled it up. It was Andrew, the cocky man who confronted Sora the day before. He smirked, a mocking twinkle in his eye. “What have we here? My opposition sent by the Reapers?†Footsteps echoed, and Angel ran into sight.

“You *******! We’re partners; you just can’t run off like that! I might not have a heart, but what I do have is control over my actions. These people are on your side. What if you need help one day? They won’t come for you, because you’re such an ASS!†She was extremely angry, for such a calm female.

Sora changed the subject, “No, it’s okay. We were headed back to the Scramble to see if we could get help, but we ran into some Noise and then you two.†Andrew laughed and shook his head, as if he was disappointed in Sora. Angel slapped him and then said, “No, take a look at the mission again.â€

“Under the nailed cross, he signed his name, risking it all, to the country he believed all should be free.
In the Column statue, he stands with a feather pen in hand, the other in his trench coat pocket.â€

Angel then went on to say sweetly, “To the country he believed all should be free? It’s most likely the US of A. You aren’t from Earth, so you probably wouldn’t know, but, there must be a library or something to look up American History. If you guys didn’t realize, we only have twenty minutes left to solve this riddle.â€

Kespirin moaned and said, “Damn! I knew it, aw crap! We’ll all be erased!†Then Kairi quietly piped in and said, “Sora, don’t you remember that museum by the park we’re above right now? It’s foreign history, we can check there.â€

Sora smiled, eyes lighting up. “Yeah! You’re right!†The group started to run towards Miyashita Park, all except for Andrew. He muttered to himself, “It’s a trap, just like yesterday you idiots. I’m staying up here to save my own ass.†He took the crumpled up paper and opened it up. It said, “Watch out for Andrew. He’s going to be the death of you all.â€

He grunted, and baring his teeth the angry man threw the note away over the overpass. He started to walk back towards the park below them, so everyone wouldn’t think he abandoned them.

Once inside, Sora asked the lady at the desk for American History. She guided them all to a small section and then left them to what they had to do. Andrew slipped in without them noticing. Slipped into the group of people he hated the most.

After a few minutes of looking for anything about the riddle, they gave up in their hearts. Sora looked at the clock, and they had three minutes left. Andrew slammed a book shut and said, “Well, I hate to be leaving you all, but-.â€

A figure ran into the American History section of the museum, and tackled Andrew to the ground. “Damn it, you’ll be the death of them all! The Reaper’s are watching and I managed to distract them while you went in, but they saw you! They’re coming to kill you, even though you are currently in the RG while in this building! I have the answer, let me say it aloud.â€

Joy filled Sora when he saw that the person was Base Sebastian, the man who was killed by the Progfox. He smiled before he started and said, “It’s just a flesh wound.†He then said the answer to everyone.

Charles Carroll, sloe Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence. "Under the nailed cross" pertains to the fact Jesus was hung on the cross by nails, the worst Roman form of Crucifixion, and the fact Carroll was Catholic. "Risking it all" meant he was very wealthy and owned many land claims in the states, and all of this would be taken away if the King caught him along with the other founding fathers. "In the column statue" is the Hall of columns, housing The National Statuary hall in Maryland, where Carroll's statue is depicted “with a feather [quill] pen, with his other hand in his trench coat pocket", his statue erected in 1903.

The timer in Sora’s hand disappeared, just as the clock ticked to five seconds left. That was too close for comfort; next time they had to act sooner. Andrew rubbed his neck and mumbled about being sorry, and how he was angry for being stuck with idiots and the whole kit and caboodle.

Base smiled, and then clutched his chest. “I’m going to be erased, my friends. The Progfox did a toll on me. I’d like to ask Rif to bring me back to the WildKat so he can keep me as a pin, and then be safe and have a chance at a next life. As for Andrew, I’d watch out. If he keeps making stupid and selfish mistakes, you’re all dead. Watch out, he’s good at heart. I knew him…before death. He was the nicest person in the world, but that was taken as his fee.â€

Sora blinked. He couldn’t see a generous, peace-loving Andrew. All he saw was the hatred burning in Andrew’s eyes. Then, Sora looked at Base, whose eyes were still unemotional. St, all at once, emotions radiated from him for a split second: sadness, joy, and determination. Something else was there, too, but then Sora noticed Base was looking at him. “Neku…please help everyone.†His eyes grew wide and then he shook his head. “Oops, I mean Sora. Well, please, this is goodbye.†He smiled in a solemn fashion, unemotional all over again. Rif helped him up, and let the dying man rest on his shoulder.

“I’m hurrying him to WildKat, you guys stay here.†Rif sighed and left as quickly as possible, the murmur of the people growing stronger as of what had happened. It was the end of the day…as well as the end of one’s life.

Sorry for the delay, I’m really busy so I never had the chance. This time, I was at my dad’s so Microsoft Word was available.
