but C-O-L-O-R and C-O-L-O-U-R are both right. In America we usually spell it C-O-L-O-R and in other states they spell it C-O-L-O-U-R.

When the pilgrims first set off to this so called "New World", they didn't leave because they wanted to, they had to. Freedom of religion, and to escape prosecution, was the reason why they left, and we all[should] know that the pilgrims were from England, thus making the language English, not stolen. After a while, they gave up their accents, ways of saying things[such as 'ol' chap' and 'pardon me'], and respelled things, thus making c-o-l-o-u-r, changed to c-o-l-o-r..
