I saw the movie at a drive-in theater, which may explain why I had difficulty with comprehending the atmosphere of the film, which I felt was done really well in the location the film is set in, as well as some of the dialogue. I made some Harry Potter jokes throughout the movie, but honestly, Radcliffe did an exceptional performance, though he kinda seemed too...I dunno, un-phased by certain events? Likely a director issue. And it had some really creepy parts, but I didn't think it was scary (course, you can chalk that up to playing Silent Hill 1-3, watching The Thing, etc.) The plot was alright, but I felt like the ending should have been different, to show more development of a certain character. Still, enjoyable, but unless you're one who finds a thrill in jump-scares (I am decidedly not), it ain't too scary.

When I saw it, my theatre were a bunch of teeny bobbers screaming at scenes that were not even scary but the end I did enjoy it resolved, kinda of it own happy ending in a way.

Wish tho the teeny bobbers did ruin most of it but it was all right kinda slow for my taste.
