The war of Humans and Elves.

Nox got on his horce and began to ride outside of the city to the rallying point.
The orders bounced around in Eva's head. She had to do it she couldn't argue with it.

 

Eva slowly got to her feet, taking off all her weapons except a sword, and heading out the door. She jogged lightly, hoping to clear her head. At least Nadia was safe. She was smart, she could find a way out of this. There was an unspoken thought in the back, but se kept it to herself.

 

Nox arived at the rallying point. Troops were postioned acordinly. All were on horsce back. Nox looked at their wepons and was surpized. They were rifles. And the uniform was Darkran meaning his father finaly found a source of Saltpeter a key element in gunpowder.

 

Eva watched, her eyes dull and blank. Well wouldn't this be a fun treat? She ignored Nox, ignored everything, but the sun, watching it as it slowly moved across the sky.

 

Nox looked at his father Sithos walking infrount of the troops. He stayed in the back to remain unnoticed.
Sithos saw Eva and smiled. Glad she accepted his orders. He also saw his son perfect. He needed to teach his son not afraid of fighting in some one elses feild. He needed to show his son that there is more to fear than he thought.

 

Eva slowly lowered her glance, then narrowed her eyes, lightning sparking around her. Seemed her magical gifts were growing, good. She threw some at a nearby tree, making it explode. Hiding the lightning from the people, she smiled at the mess. Time to have fun.

 

The troops began to move they rode at a fast pace away from the city.
Nox was nervous he held onto his reins tightly.

 

Eva considered several reasons, all irrelevant now. She gently spun her barb tipped spear, almost lazily.

 

They rode for and hour and came to the edge of the forest. Sithos was on his hource at the frount almost taunting the elves to come and try to kill him.
Nox was glad he was in the middle good chance of not being killed here.

 

Eva rolled her eyes. Coward. She drifted to the front lines, still spinning her spear, then opened her palm, and blew on it. Dust, shaping into a butterfly, fluttered away, becoming bigger and bigger.

 

No one seemed to notice Eva. Sithos began to ride forward into the woods his troops behind him. They raised their rifles up and were ready.
Nox moved his hource he didn't want to be here but what was poscessing him to keep going.
