The war of Humans and Elves.

"I'm Nox's father," the man said, "I don't like it when people weiold wepons around me."

 

Eva lowered the weapon respectfully, but still held onto it. "Shall I leave you two alone then?" she asked, not switching her gaze, or lowering it. "I wouldn't want to come behind family relations." She still had the note, the one she had saved.

 

"No you can stay," the man said.
Nox woke up and saw his father. He reached for his wand but realized it was on the floor. The man realized that Nox was awake. Nox got out of the bed and onto his feet.
"Nox would you kindly calm yourself," the man said.
Nox frozed and relaxed his eyes went blank, "yes my Lord."
"You must be the one confusing him in his duties. Eva isn't it," the man said.

 

Eva raised her chin slightly, in some sort of challenge. "It depends on who wants to know. Nox can fully make his own choices, he doesn't need me to confuse them for him." she replied, slipping one hand behind her back to her knife back there.

 

"Thats where you are wrong. Nox doesn't have control I do," the man said, "well most of the time."

 

She narrowed her eyes, then flew the knife with a flick of her wrist, barely perceptible even to an elf eye. They had been the ones to train her, after all.

 

The knife floated infrount of the man, "tsk tsk tsk. I'm disapointed."
The knife fell to the floor sticking into the floor. The man drew a smothing from his side it was small it had a short iron tube that was conrcted to wood that was disighned for someone's hand.

 

She watched, her facial expression not changing. "So you aren't human, or completely. I was wondering, you know. Maybe it was the things I've heard about you, or the eyes...but no sane human could be like you. No sane elf, in fact."

 

"If thats your way of saying I'm not an ordinary man then I'll take it as a compliment," the man said, "I realy can't stay long but I can't let you warn the elves and if you fight ageist Nox this is likely to happen again. Ah I've got it."
The man's eyes seemed to shine. He looked into Eva's eyes and gained control of Eva's mind.

 

Eva had time to feel an earth shattering pain burst through her walls, had time to gasp, then she crumpled to the ground, her eyes dimming. She was still there, but it wasn't her soul there anymore, it was his. Only she could make her eyes glow the special way they did. At the same time she cut off her connection to Nadia. He couldn't find her.

 

"You will help my son and not tell him I was here. You will not kill yourself. And you will place my sons life above your own," the man said if he could erace her mind like he could with Nox he would but he didn't have time for it, "now sleep and not wake till morning. And Nox would you kindly go back to be and forget that this happend.
Nox obayed his comands with a "yes my Lord."

 

Eva gasped, shivering uncontrollably. She refused to let her spirit bow to him. She refused to say anything to him. She didn't care what he did, even if he made her body do it, she would fight with her spirit every inch of the way. This is hate. she realized. This is what Nadia feels around everyone.

 

The man was about to leave when he saw Eva still awake. He turned and looked at her. He increaced his power over her, "obay me."

 

She screamed silently as the weight pressed down on her, clenching her fists into palms, then made her eyes raise to his. "Never." she said with both mind and spirit. If she knew his type, he wouldn't like that at all.

 

"You've got spirt I'll give you that," the man got closer. He kneeled down next to her and grabed his arm. His power increased. She was now his pupet like this. His comands were the only things echoing in Eva's mind now.

 

She screamed, then dropped, her eyes akin to lifeless. She was in her hiding place, trying to retreat from the commands. Why oh why hadn't she just run?

Nadia burst into the room, then shot the man bending over Eva. "Get away from her." she said, her eyes deadly ice.

 

OC: I'm asuming an arrow

The arrow stoped in midair. The man turned around and smile, "arrows so ureliable agiest someone who knows magic. But this can't be stoped or avoided."
The man pointed his wepon at Nadia. There was a loud bang and smoke came out of the tube of the wepon. The man pushed further into Eva's mind she would no longer be able to resist his comands. She would now obay his earlier comands.

 

Nadia rolled, then dove toward Eva. "Stop it. You can't break her. You'll just kill her!" She had thought Nox would protect her sister, but he was a weak minded human. She couldn't do anything, yet.

 

The man looked at Nadia and used his powers on her. He gave her one simple order, "die."

 

Nadia flashed a smile. "Won't work on me, laddy buck. I've been alive longer then you, and I won't break with your simple tricks." She glared at him, sending power of her own right back at him.
