"Eva I have to do this I don't know why but I have to do this," Nox said, "Eva I'm sorry."

 

She inclined her head. "As you wish." She kept her courier face on, smiling blandly. "I'll be gone in the morning. Lots to do. You understand." she looked back at the window. "Don't apologize, it's your livelihood."

 

OC: Will someone please realize it's the slave charm

Nox drew his wand. He was shaking, "I can't let you go Eva."

 

OC: It's nice to forget.

BIC: She turned, her eyes narrowed to slits. "And why not? They're my people too. I'm not going to watch them get slaughtered, or sit at home like a good little girl. They need me, just like Nadia needs me. Don't you dare..."

 

Eva was flung onto the bed, "I can't let you go. You'll warn them. And raise the death rates of both sides."
Nox was still shaking. He didn't want Eva to get hurt. His head started the hurt the stress the fighting with himself.

 

Eva rolled off, her eyes narrowed. She reached for a knife instinctively, then stopped. "Let. Me. Go." She spoke slowly, enounciating. "I have people I care about too, I have to warn them, at least. If you keep me here, I'll kill myself." she kept her eyes on his face. "You know I will."

 

Nox head trobed. His vision began to blur. He droped his wand and stumbled back losing his balance. He held himself up on a table. His arms began to shake. He sliped and hit the table. Nox's weight caused the table and himself to fall to the ground.

 

She sighed, then let go of her knife, going over to him. She couldn't leave him in that condition, anyway. Gently touching his forehead, she picked him up gently. "Nox?"

 

Nox was still shaking, 'Eva please help me. I don't know what to do. I don't even know whats wrong.'

 

She gently held him, rocking back and forth like he was a hurt child. "Shhh" she whispered, her eyes half closed. "Shhhh now. Just rest. Everything will be okay. Just close your eyes."

 

Nox held onto Eva. It was comforting to be held. He closed his eyes and tried to calm down.

 

Gently, Eva slid him onto the bed. "Just rest." she murmured, humming gently. "Rest. It'll all be okay." This might have been a lie, but it was a kind one. She hoped he would take her advice.

 

Nox stoped shaking, 'Eva please stay till the morning.'
Nox felt a tug on the leylines but ignored it.

 

She brushed her hair back with one hand, then sighed. "Okay, till morning." she murmured. "But only if you sleep." She smiled, gently fixing his hair to lay just right. "Go to sleep, and I"ll stay."

 

Nox passed out on the bed. His head stoped hurting. Something just kinda clicked in his head.

 

Eva gently covered him up, then set about to rearming herself, keeping an eye on him while she was doing it. She had promised if he had gone to sleep she would stay...till dawn. Dawn of all things. Why always dawn?

 

A tall man walked through the emptay streets of the city. His black hair blened in with the dark night. His black coat was hiding his face. He walked into the inn unoticed. He walked up the stairs without a noise. He walked to the door to Nox's room. He put his hand on the door knob. The door unlocked with a quiet click.

OC: I'd fill out an oc but I'm on my cell.

 

OOC: I have to go sleepies soon. In four minutes, really. And no one else seems to be in this, could you tell?

BIC: Eva turned, her head tilted as she heard the click. Grabbing her chakram, she spun it around her finger, waiting for whomever stepped in the doorway.

 

The door opened to the man his purple eyes stared at Eva, 'put it down.'
His voice was strong but seemed kind and at the same time it struck fear to anyone.

 

Eva ignored the effects his voice gave her, still twirling the chakram, this time around her wrist. "And why would I?" she asked, keeping her voice level and steady. She didn't do anything for anybody, and most certainly not for him, whatever he was. Her clear eyes glared right back at his, giving away nothing.
