The war of Humans and Elves.

Eva froze, slowly turning around. "Why does it matter?" she tried to calm her heart, knowing that probably every single predator in the forest could hear it.

 

OOC: They're both humans.

 

Eva reacted on instinct, pulling out a katana and slashing at it. She turned to the stranger, pulling out her remaining weapon.

 

Eva flinched at his words. She remained tense, watching him with her eyes. She didn't want to lose.

 

Eva spun around, her eyes searching. "I'm not afraid of the dark." she said, looking for him. The last thing she needed was a knife in her back.

 

Eva closed her eyes for a second. "Is there any chance I can live?"

 

Eva opened her eyes. "Then lets get it over with."

 

Eva closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. "If I live, you're going to make me your slave?" She whirled, slashing with her katanas at his chest.

 

Eva whirled the other direction, slashing towards his neck with one, his stomach the other. "Running can solve everything." It was like he knew her...but that wasn't possible.

 

Eva tensed, watching him. She didn't know what to think, or do. She backed away slowly, into the darker part of the woods, wondering how far she could make it before he caught her.

 

Nox pulled out his wand and pointed it at the slightly crazy guy, 'can't we all get along.'

 

Eva jumped backwards, then quickly turned and ran. She had to try. She put her katanas away, drawing her bow.

 

Eva struggled, her heart pounding. "That was my mother's bow." she replied, gasping for air.

 

Eva sat up, massaging her wrists. "Fine. Break it. What matters are the memories." She stood up slowly, getting ready to run again.

Nox listoned to what the man had to say, 'wait a minuet. Your going to destroy an entire city thats the elves don't even care about in atempt to scare them. If the elves don't know about the city why would they care that it's gone?'

 

Eva closed her eyes, turning away from the answer. "But it would hurt a lot of innocent people......You would take the many casulties over a victory that would eventually turn into a war again?"

 

Nox looked at the girl then the man; hopeing he woulding be next on the guys to kill list.

Ireth's eyes were wide when she looked up. "Er, um... Hi." She was still sitting on the ground, back against the wall. She still had her staff in hand, gripping it tightly. She slowly smiled. "You were the one following me earlier...?"

The shop keeper kept a wary eye on Arwin, but kept to his buisness.
