She ducked under a tree, then untied Eva and set the horse loose, whispering to it. "I suggest you do the same." she told Nox, leaning Eva against the nearby tree.

 

"What I bought these horces for a reason so we could keep them. I'm not buying anymore and you will not steal them. I'm keeping mine," Nox said and also order Nadia.

 

Nadia shrugged. "Whatever you think." But she still watched her horse walk away, grinning. Eva, now awake, watched with a smile. "Well that was fun." she murmured, yawning.

 

"You okay Eva," Nox said concern in his voice, "you had us... or maybe just me worried."

 

Nadia rolled her eyes. "I'm going to get stuff for a fire. Try not to flirt too much in my absence." she walked into the darker parts, muttering to herself.

Eva smiled, looking up at him, while waving to Nadia. "I'm okay. It's hard...hearing so many...." she quieted for a second, then smiled again.

Nox looked at Eva, "Hear what?"

 

Eva looked up. "Their voices." she said, smiling slightly. "The ones who die around me." Shivering slightly, she looked back at where Nadia had disappeared to, thinking.

 

"Must be hard to deal with," Nox said quietly.

 

She smiled, bringing her knees to her chest. "I would have gone mad if Nadia hadn't helped me. I didn't even know they were dead people until she figured it out." she shook her head. "Nadia is so different." She patted the ground beside her. "You don't have to keep standing, you know."

 

"Is this a mental ablitly you have," Nox said, "or magical."

 

Eva smiled, leaning against the tree. "Apparently it's a little of both. I inheritated some power from my mother...and apparently acquired some of it from the places I've been." she grinned as he stayed standing.

 

"We'll I have charms that block mental ablitities and I think I can whip up something that might help if you'd like," Nox said.

Eva smiled, then shook her head. "I was born this way, so why try to change something I am?" she asked, her eyes bright. "I'm content with this."

 

"Alright let me know if ever becomes to much," Nox said finaly sitting.

 

She smiled, pulling her knees to her chest. "Of course..." Just then Nadia dumped a lot of wood into a pile, and sighed. "Behave, kiddies, Mommy's back home." She placed the wood into a pyramid like structure and sighed. "Any conjure fire?"

 

Nox took out one of his red potions he carfuly took out a small bit of the liquid and threw it at the wood. There was a snap and the wood caught fire.

 

Nadia sighed. "Thank the gods." she proclaimed melodramatically, while falling gently to the ground and sitting in front of the fire. "I was afraid you would be no more use to us." She commented to Nox, then settled to watching the fire eat up the logs.

Eva sighed, watching her friend. For all the other girl put up a tough front, she could tell Nadia was worried. About what wasnt just clear yet, but she was worried.

 

"yeah and I can cook to," Nox said, "just anouther one of my fine qulities."

 

Nadia had to grin at that. "I'll challenge that when we aren't running for our lives into unknown territory." She sighed, poking at the fire. "I'll take first watch."

Eva nodded, almost half asleep again anyway. She curled up in the roots of the tree and went to sleep almost immediately, only to dream of the screams of the dead.
