The war of Humans and Elves.

"Just head in the general direction." She snapped, tying Eva into the saddle. "I can't pay attention to that right now."

 

"Alright." Nox said as he began to ride down the road.

 

Eva secured, Nadia followed him closely, her eyes watching the roads. "So talk. Where are you from?

 

"The Darkra Emperium," Nox said not sounding very proud.

 

Nadia looked up. "Haven't heard that name in a while. Care to explain?" she asked, her hips swaying slightly with the horse's movement. She was surprised that Eva was still asleep.

 

"I was born there and raised there. Thats it," Nox said.

 

Nadia tilted her head. "Doesnt sound like that's it." she remarked, guiding her horse with her knees. "But hey, if you don't want to talk, whatever. I'm just hanging around."

 

Nox sighed, "How much do you know?"

 

Nadia tilted her head. "Almost nothing. They didn't really educate us on the humans, except how to kill them. At least, my teacher didn't...." she drifted off.

 

"They are curently the strongest Human faction in the war," Nox said, "Curently they are building up Armies for there second large scale attack on the eastern elves."

 

Nadia tilted her head, listening. "So they, and basically you, are our enemies." She murmured, her eyes gazing into the distance.

 

"I said I was born there nothing else," Nox said coldly.

 

Nadia flinched, his tone bringing back memories of long nights and short days. "I didn't assume." she murmured, guiding her horse a farther distance away from him. "I just made a statement of what others would except of you."

 

"Well they shouldn't," Nox said, "I don't go around telling everyone were I'm from."

 

She nodded, then whispered to her horse. "Come on. I want to be in the woods at nightfall." she said to him, not looking back. that was how she dealt with things.

 

"Alright now remind me were are we going," Nox asked.

 

Nadia laughed, the wind snatching it and carrying back. She would have replied, but he wouldn't have heard anyways. Making her horse go faster, she giggled, holding onto Eva.

Nox shruged. Nadia was leading it would be fine.

 

Slowing down at the edge of the woods, she dismounted and led her horse in without hesitation, not looking back at Nox. If he was coming, he would come. Otherwise she would just keep going.

 

Nox stoped and folowed Nadia.
