The war of Humans and Elves.

Nox couldn't sleep. The adrelin rush from earlier kept him awake.

 

Nadia smiled, tucking Eva in, then walking to the window, thinking deeply. Eva had to stay away from the woods, but the very place she had to go was in there. If they were captured by her people, Eva might not be able to make it this time. She remembered the last time they had almost died, and shuddered.

 

Nox turned over on his stomic and sighed.

 

Nadia suddenly grinned, then opened the window, climbing out, closing it, then jumping off the roof to the road. She made her way into the woods, then sighed. "Here I was hoping they would send someone else." she muttered, looking at the figure before her.

 

Nox rolled over and fell out of his bed with a tump. He moaned as he got back up and into the bed.

 

Nadia sighed again. "Just tell them I'll be back on duty after this. I have to keep my promises." The figure sighed. "Be careful, my daughter. There are strange people walking the woods these days." Nadia smiled, then hugged her mom. "I'll be fine. See you soon." She turned, tucking the item back into her pocket and heading back to the inn at a light jog.

 

Nox strugled to find sleep... again.

 

Nadia climbed slowly back up to her window, then cursed as she banged her knee on the water drain. Just great. she climbed faster back up to her room.

 

Nox heard a bang it woke him up out of the sleep he just got into, "Why?"

 

She climbed over a window, then slipped. Biting back a yell, she held onto the window sill, her fingers digging in. Even she couldn't land perfectly from falling to the ground this way. It might mean a broken neck.

 

OC: should I save her

Nox got out of bed fianly giveing up the idea of sleep.

 

OOC: If you want. I needed some kind of action. I wanted to make long epic posts XD

BIC: Nadia grimaced, knowing her fingers would be bleeding later. She tried to pull herself up, but the necklace weighed her down, feeling like it was made of a thousand pounds. She struggled to hold on, but felt her fingers slipping.

 

Nox looked out his window and saw Nadia. He turned around to go sit at the desk but ran back to the window and opened it. Nox climed onto the roof and walked carefully over to Nadia.

 

She rolled her eyes, seeing Nox. "Too dangerous, right?" she commented quietly, still trying to pull herself up. "Don't say this happened because I"m a girl. I'm an elf."

 

"And that makes it you so much better," Nox said sarcasticaly he extended a hand to Nadia, "Come on."

 

She sighed, then grabbed his hand,letting go of the sill and banging against the roof. "I guess my night time abilites need work." she sighed.

 

Nox pulled her up onto the roof falling backwards with Nadia on top, "Next time use the door."

 

She nodded, smiling slightly. "I just didn't want to get caught out late at night." she explained, seemingly at ease. "Plus this is more interesting."

 

"Oh well. Now get off me," Nox said.

 

She rolled off, almost laughing, then slowly stood up, her hands trembling. She swore when she saw the shape they were in.
