Nox fell asleep still thinking about what he learned.

OC: what type of internet do you have?

 

OOC: The service provider is Starband, but its provided by Internet Explorer.

BIC: Nadia contemplated just ending it all now. Hell, if she died, Eva would have an easier time of it. She slowly drew her dagger, praying that she wouldn't be too forsworn.

 

OC: never heard of Starband thats probly your problem.

Nox slept in his bed soundly.

 

OOC: Probably..*sigh*

BIC: Nadia hesitated. Eva wouldn't like it one bit. She crept toward him, then slashed downward, mentally preparing herself for the pain.

 

OC: so get a new internet my only sugjestion

Nox awoke and raised his left arm to met the blade. in hit his arm band of charms. Nadia was shocked like crazy.
'Drop the knife,' Nox orderd.

 

Nadia gritted her teeth to keep from screaming. The only thing that kept her upright was her own stubbornness. "No." she said, still holding to the blade tightly.

 

Nox stood up and grabed Nadia's hand, ' put down the knife.'

 

She shook her head, holding it tighter. "No!" she whispered angrily, despite the pain. She had been through worse, and it didn't matter if she could end it all in a moment.

 

'Nadia stop,' Nox said queitly, 'your going to kill yourself instead of killing me.'

 

She closed her eyes, then with a sigh, dropped the knife. It fell in slow motion for her, turning through the air. She let out another sigh as it hit the ground. "Please let me go." she whispered.

 

"Nadia I will but I can't yet. A mounth thats it alright," Nox said quietly hopeing to calm Nadia down. The shocks resided.

 

She shook her head, forcing the tears away. She couldn't say whether they were tears of anger, or tears of pain. Maybe both. "I can't wait that long! I have to take care of Eva, and get her away from my people!"

 

"Then I'll help you," Nox said.

 

She pulled her hand back toward her body. "No one can help me." she said finally. "No one."

 

"Let me at least try," Nox said.

 

She looked up, her eyes searching his. "Why do you care so much?" she asked, keeping her voice low. No need to bring Eva up into this. "What's in it for you?"

 

"One because I don't want you to try to kill me anymore, two I have to make it up to you some how and three like I said before I'm a nice guy," Nox said letting go of Nadia's hand.

 

She smiled slightly, keeping her hand pressed against her chest. "One, I know. Two, maybe. Three.....I don't know yet." she turned away, her face lonely for a second. "I have to go find Eva."

 

"Alright but don't try to kill me again," Nox said as he be went back to the bed.

 

She nodded silently, then opened the door, and walked into the hallway, closing it behind her. She pressed her back to it, thinking, then walked down the hallway to her room. Eva, of course, was wide awake.

She smiled, then lay down in a separate bed. "I knew you would make the right choice." Eva murmured, closing her eyes and seemingly falling asleep.
