The war of Humans and Elves.

Nadia narrowed her eyes. "We don't have time to explain. Evangeline, leave now, I'll stall, and meet you in the Forgotten City." She whistled, two horses coming out of the woods.

 

He frowned and said "I don't need a horse. They don't like me anyways."

 

Nadia sighed, rolling her eyes. "One is for me." She mounted the gray one, turning away. "See you in a few hours." With that she galloped off.

Eva calmed the horse, her eyes closed. "Ready?" she asked Merlock, her voice quiet.

 

"Yeah." he said. "Mind telling me what she was talking about?"

 

Eva got on the horse, looking down. "Later, kay? If we make it to the Forgotten City. Have you been there?"

 

He sighed and said "Only once, before it was forgotten." It hurt him to know that she, his only friend and first love, kept a secret from him.

 

OC: I feel lonely

 

Eva smiled apologetically, then brushed her tears away. "Let's go.." she galloped away, her face set.

Meet us at the city we are going to then.

 

He saw her wipe her tears and felt horrible, flying beside her.

 

(Hours later @_@) Eva winced as she got off the horse. Her legs had cramped up, and she was sore. The horse, now free, galloped off into the woods.

 

OC: Nox is getting ready for an attack It would be nice if the elf merc would show up and fight but you guys got your trail. Well after the trail she could show up at the city

 

OOC: the elf can do whatever the hell she wants >8D

BIC: Nadia talked with her kind, then headed to the city, where a battle would take place. She did have a certain allegiance to her kind after all.

 

Nox made a few last minuet changes. The shild was starting to fade. Soon the elves would be able to march into the city. The draw brige was raised and the archers got ready.

 

Nadia looked at the city, leading the charge on her gray horse. "Ready?" she yelled to the others.

 

The archers fired the arows at the horses. The arrows exploded on impact. The arrows had be lined with explosive potion.

Ireth looked at the ground silently, feeling a slight breeze from the north rush down in the gully. She kept her staff on her shoulders, letting her wrists rest on the smooth, wooden surface. She let herself get lost in her own thoughts as she continued down the ravine. She didn't know where she was going... She was just going somewhere.

 

Several mage elves set up a protection shield, and deflected most of the arrows. Nadia rolled as her horse dropped, then cursed, grabbing her bow.

 

Arrows pelted down on the soldiers. Nox got into position.

 

Ireth stopped, staring at the ground. She felt the breeze brush against her skin, and closed her eyes gradually. She let a breath out, listening to the silence. "East..." She turned the opposite direction and made her way out of the ravine. She wasn't going to explain why she chose it. Ireth was tired of explaining things to these two. It was like talking through a brick wall. If they didn't want to go that way, it was too bad for them. She knew it was the right way.
