The war of Humans and Elves.

Eva held her head, tripping and falling into the street. She didn't think she would have actually hit him....the pain almost made her pass out, but she slowly got up, following him.

 

OOC: That's basically controlling my character. You can't have all his magic drained, and you can't have him fall to the ground. Just because I have him get hit, doesn't mean I want him dead or close to death. And it doesn't say anywhere in your profile that his scythe can drain magic or anything.

 

I didn't ask you to save me or hang around me, she thought in her mind. The exit towards the city was just up ahead. She knew where her true form was. This one was going to fade out shortly. Hopefully, she thought, my true form got away from that one guy... and the city.

 

OOC: Okay. I didn't see that.

BIC: Merlok was in pain, but he could still fight. But he had to end it quickly, before he lost too much blood. He flew after Vlain.

 

Eva tried to keep going, but the pain became too much. "Vlain....." she collapsed, the world swimming before her eyes. "Why do you want to hurt..."

 

He teleported once more and blocked it with his katana. "I'm not through with you yet! That potion should be over sometime soon." he said.

 

OOC: By the way, the real one isn't there... silly. XD

BIC:

The illusion Ireth suddenly flickered out, disappearing from sight.

The real Ireth was out of the city, heading into the forest. She felt like a total coward, leaving the people behind to suffer. She stopped short, sitting on a rock in the shade of the tree. She sighed out quietly, glad to be out of the situation.

 

Eva cringed, feeling cold. She was going to die, unless she found a sedative. "Where...."

 

OOC: Okay.

BIC: Merlok rolled out of the way and grabbed his scythe, picking him up and spinning him around, trying to shake him off.
OOC: I'm thinking of having him go up into the air and Merlok throwing his scythe into him, possibly cutting him in half, or just stabbing him.

 

Eva curled up on the ground, shivering. "Please..let me go..." she murmured, her eyes closing. Everything was fading into grey...She had to let go....

 

Merlok threw the scythe back at him as hard as he could. "Now it's time for you to die, and hopefully find the peace you've been looking for." he said.

 

OOC: XDD

BIC: Eva whimpered, her vision going darker. "Let me go...." She was so cold....

 

Merlok stumbled to her and knelt beside her. "Eva, are you okay?" he asked.

 

Eva felt dead to the world, and it to her. "Merlock?......" She felt cold..so cold...

 

He could almost sense how cold she was. He used the last of his energy to heal and warm her up enough to be fine and healthy. "Who would've thought that I would risk my life to save someone, instead of just stealing her soul to keep me alive. I wonder why." he said, passing out from loss of blood and using too much energy.

 

Eva shivered, then woke up, feeling...different. She looked over, seeing Merlock passed out. Swearing, she tore off the bottom of her shirt, binding his wounds. "Vlain....." Her bag was gone, but she struggled to think. What could she use...

 

Vlain is dead. Merlok said in her mind.

 

"Dead?" she would discuss the ethics of him being in her head later. Her mind was already twisted with sorrow. He could have been a good person...

 

Yes. He became so warped he could only focus on his mission to kill. I had no choice, there is no spell, human or elven, that could have helped him. All we can do is hope he found his peace in the afterlife. he said in her head. As for how I'm able to talk to you like this, I used the last of my energy to heal you and keep you warm. And in doing so, I left a part of my spirit in you. So I can hear your thoughts, and you can hear mine.
