OOC: Priate you shold be able to download WMM (windows movie maker) from the net microsoft.com to be exact, and it should be free...any ways, i have wing's intro uploading...taking forever....but now i'm off to veiw Darknights vid! lol

 

OOC: I'll get more clips. I assure you of that. But just in case....Can you all post the pictures of your characters? I'd much rather use clips, but as I said; Just in case....So let's just assume I'll use clips.

And does anyone know how to put clips on an AMV once you get them?


Also, if I'm going to use clips, I have to match up the characters. For Xardius, all I can think of is Auron from FFX...

 

OOC: Auron doesn't really fit Xardius all that greatly...You could probably do the main character from Bleach and get away with it...He has almost red hair and a big sword...

Once you have Windows Movie Maker, you can import videos into your "Collection" by clicking File, Import Video, and then clicking on the video you want. However, my computer only lets me import WMV files, so be careful about that.

Once you have it in your collection, it might be split up into different parts, depending on if a little box on the bottom of the import screen was checked or not. If it was, it will probably be easier to cut it around.

Drag it to the bottom and place it there, and you'll have the video on the timeline thing. You can mix things around and stuff, and put music overlaying it all.

There's like a Save Video or something around somewhere, and I saved it onto my computer as a WMV file and then uploaded it to Youtube.

 

OOC: I could help out with the AMV, i mean i'm not GREAT at it, but i have some knowledge... as far as pics go i'll post the image codes here:

PS: Darknight the vid was awesome! and yeah WMM only lets you use WMV flies (microsoft with microsoft kinda thing) and there is a way to mute the clips also, if you want to do that any way

OOC: So I want the video to be cut into different parts? And WMV's? They might have them at a website called Blue Laguna. Ever check it out? You could've used some of their clips.


And the reason I want to use Auron is because, I'm trying to maintain the 3-D look. If I can't find any to match, I'll use animated characters. So if you could make a list of who you want your characters to be and your songs.:

Xardius-Possibly main guy from Bleach. Song-Unknown.

And another thing, Darknight and Wing, if you find some WMV's at Blue Laguna you can remake the AMV using better stand-ins for each character. I was slightly dissapointed when all Xane did was half fold his arms in the vid.

 

OOC: The computer I'm using somehow doesn't let me mute them... I switched from upstairs to downstairs so I could upload it (plus the upstairs one crashed, it's a dinosaur, what can I say)...

Anyway, your video for Wing is awesome too! It's really good. How'd you get the Fai clips?

Because Kurogane would fit Xardius too...

EDIT: Blue Laguna's videos are all AVI's...They won't even play on Windows Media Player...And that's all I have, XD...

EDIT 2: Xane only folded his arms because I didn't know what he looked like (other than he has dark skin), and Riku was turning into Ansem (with the big guy). Plus Roxas was there.

I could probably do another one (maybe a better one, lol), if I had more clips for the characters, XD.

Note that Xardius wasn't even in the AMV, lol.

I just edited this four times in ten seconds, scary. I gotta go, see ya.

And how do you upload music on an AMV?

 

OOC:All those AMVs are great, I really like them. We still need to make a intrumental AMV though.

 

I have two different conversion programs on my computer (i'm really into creating things, so i've got a ton of stuff to do well creative things with..) and i have the Tsubasa anime on DVD, one of my converters lets me turn my DVDs into WMVs and then i use Sony Vegas.

As far as a song goes for your amv Priate, you need to import a song into WMM, (theres an "audio" upload button in the side bar) and from there all you do is click on the music and drag it to the time-line, and wah-la you have music on your AMV.


I'll post the embeded vid here priate maybe that will work? Youtube's been kicknig me off all day, i tried four times to upload it....






PS: Priate i'll give you my e-mail, you can well any one can send me any video format and i'll convert it to WMV and send it back...sound good?
