"Woah." Xane said. "Look. Despite all that's happened the only way out is through this cave. So you might wanna calm down."

 

Wing shot Xane a look of intense anger. before looking at Vexneah's body in his hands, Fenris was ready to jump in a take her from him. He took a few deep breaths and the twilight began to vanish.

"I'm sorry...i'm just...never mind its not worth it, lets just get out of here and back to a safe place? Okay?"

 

"Yeah." Xane said. He never knew that Wing could get this angry. Maybe he should lay off the caffine. As they walked through the mysterious ruins, several footsteps were heard behind them. "Xardius? Bellatrix? Geryl?"

A hand tapped on Xane's shoulder from behind him.

"Leeeeeeeaaaave!" the voice said from behind him.


"Huh? Whatever, Nulix. Nice try. Next time ya might wanna-" Xane started until he turned around. He saw a corpse, that walked and was still moving on it's own. It held a battle axe in it's right hand.


"Wing I think we have a problem...." Xane muttered.


OOC: This was part of DaKnight's plan.

 

Wing drew his key blade

"I ageee...but some how i think you're actually happy that we fianlly get to fight a decent enemy huh?"

 

"Yup!" Xane shouted as he cracked his knuckles. More zombies started to emerge from various corners of the cave.

 

Wing Used his magic to place Vexneah on his back again and used one arm to hold her, his other are sported his Twlight Blade, the Featherdancer was floating on the other side, ready to defend Vexneah.


"Time to relieve some stress" He said with a smirk as he attacked once of the animated corpses.

 

"Ha!" Xane said as he punched and took jabs at various zombies. Nothing appeared to harm them. Despite all of Xane and Wing's attacks. Nothing seemed to kill the zombies. "These freaks won't die.......again...." Xane said.

 

Wing jumped back in defeat, gasping for breath.

"Great...we finally think we get something easy to fight, and of course, they are just punching bags..no matter what you do they stay up...any ideas Xane?"

 

"I'd hate to say it but......" Xane started until he looked at the bag he was holding for Xardius, There was a note on it that said: Use in case of zombie attacks.

"That geezer plans for everything!" Xane said as he opened the bag to reveal several rifles.

 

Wing smirked

"Yeah he does..." He grabbed a rifle and used his wind magic to load it,

"Ready aim and fire i guess" He said with a chuckle as he pulled the trigger

 

"This is just like Resident Evil!" Xane said, as he blasted a zombie's head off. "Except without the plot twists!"

Xane started to move further throughout the dungeon.


OOC: Gotta go. I might be back on later tonight but you probably won't.

 

Wing just shook his head at Xane's comment.

"Yeah yeah just keep fireing" He pulled the trigger and hit the zombie before him in the head.

Fenris had taken Vexneah from Wing and placed her against the nearest wall. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he let Vexneah suffer from his mistakes again. He stood firmly between her the approaching undead, clutching a rifle he had obtained from Xardius' mysteriously convenient bag. He didn't like guns and he didn't need guns, but if guns were the only thing that killed zombies...

He scowled and took off in a flash. Fenris was practically invisible as he gracefully maneuvered around the mobs of corpses, the only evidence of his existence being the resounding gunshots that seemed to have come from nowhere. Unable to see their attacker, the corpses were defenseless. Fenris suddenly halted altogether, standing completely still. As if on cue, the zombies all fell in unison.

Hardly showing any expression of triumph, he glanced back at Vexneah, who was now breathing unevenly as if she was having a nightmare. Apparently dead people have a negative effect on her, even in the comatose state she was in. All the more reason to hurry up and defeat these things...

 

"What the hell are those things?!" Nulix yelled, running behind Xane and Wing... ​

 

"Does that really matter right now?" Xane asked as he swung his rifle at a zombie that tried to bite his shoulder.

Several armored zombies emerged from their resting places. They drew swords and pepared to attack.

"Where do these things come from?" Xane asked.

 

Wing was back to back with Fenris, and was firing off sas many shots as he could...then he'd hastily reload and attack again.

"This is really getting old... He pulled twin pistols from the bag, throeing the rifle away after the next few shots.

"These are more my style." He said as he began to levitate around the zombies, now able to take two down at once.

 

"How do we get out of here?!" Nulix yelled, rapidly shooting at a Zombie with his gunblade. ​

 

"Let's stop shouting out questions and attacking zombies!" Xane said. Several more armored zombies punched through a wall. All of the zombies that had been taken out without the rifles were starting to rise.

"We're getting surrounded by these freaks!" Xane exclaimed.


"Freaks? You call us freaks? Die you abomination!" an armored zombie yelled as maggots flew from it's jaw as it spoke.


"You can talk?" Xane asked.


"Yes we can talk. And as you said you are surrounded by me and my comrades." the armored zombie said. "Kill as many of us as you like but we'll still defeat you."


"........How about we call off the attack?" Xane asked, still ready to fight.


"How about I take you to our leader and he decides what to do with you." the armored zombie retorted.


"I say we let the humans die!" another zombie said.

Xane subsequently pulled out his rifle and shot that zombie's head from it's shoulders. Some of the other lesser zombies backed off slightly. Xane then turned to his friends. "What do you guys think?" he asked.

 

"find the leader and make him tell us how to get out"

wing said watching the zombies

 

"That is our leader's decision!" the armored zombie said. "Escort our prisoners to the king's throne room!" the armored zombie directed.
