"Oh I'm not fighting," Vecked said, "If he was a normal soldier sure, but my life's a bit too important at the moment. Yours is too. If he can kill us with a touch, we should just run. Thats the smart thing to do."

 

"Think of it like someone pulling a gun's trigger and killing you," Xardius said. "Or gutting you with a sword. You die from the blade, you die from the bullet, you die from him hitting you. Back to the good old days when it wasn't about how much damage you could take but whether you were good enough now to get hit."

Xardius grinned. "Besides, he can't touch us if we're far away. And shooting him. This will be a lesson in sharp shooting."

 

Vecked smiled, "Its... its all good Xardius. I'm not taking chances, I'm not an idiot..."

 

"Suggesting that I am?" Xardius asked, raising an eyebrow. "You know we'll have to fight this guy eventually right? He won't suspect us to attack him right now. Later, he will."

 

"Alright, kill yourself. Or, alternately, kill him. One less enemy, great!" Vecked chuckled, "Xardius, your not used to this but I am. This is going down as an operation. Wing needs to live, I need to live, it would be nice if you lived. Thats the way an operation works. If he finds us after the Virus is gone we can fight him, right now, for the operation to work better, we need to ignore this guy. Alright?"


OOC: I can't have Vecked be too likable...

 

"So, where's he hiding now?" Xane asked.

OOC: No you can't. We have to avoid him getting shot in the head by Jaxel again.

 

OOC: No worries there...

BIC: Xardius shook his head. "I don't die..."

He turned to Xane. "I'm guessing he's probably scouting out the army, figuring out where it's going and such."

The tech ran up with the rifles. "Here."

Xardius took them. They were huge. He smiled. "Well, Xane, if you're up to this..." He walked out of the room.

 

"Of course," Xane shrugged, taking a rifle.

 

OOC: I don't get the reference, Pirate. I really don't.

BIC: Vecked rolled his eyes...

 

Xardius climbed a small maintenance ladder onto the roof of the building, helping Xane up with the rifle.

"You take the first shot," Xardius said. "Once we pinpoint him, anyway. For now, just look for him. He'll probably be on a roof, like us."

 

"Gotcha," Xane said. "What's so special about these rifles, anyway?"

 

"You can see really far in them," Xardius intoned. "There."

He pointed to the north, to a slightly lower building. "On the rooftop, in front of that twirlie thing."

Xardius raised the gun. "Shoot whenever you're ready."

 

"Uh-huh," Xane nodded aiming the rifle at a smokey grat figure.. Once his target was in sight, he shot.

 

Mordeth was studying the army when the shot hit him like a freight train, tearing into his lower shoulder and throwing him forward as his right rib cage shattered from the exit point. Landing in a pile of growing blood, he was still for only a few seconds before standing and turning to stare towards Xardius and Xane. Glaring, he raised his hands, black death swirling in them, readying to loose towards the two.

"Hmm," Xardius said. "Just like before."

His finger hit the trigger.

Xardius' shot took Mordeth in the face as his death bullets raced forward to kill Xane and Xardius; there wasn't much left of his face when the bullet left him. Raising a hand to his ruined face, Mordeth had a moment to feel fear as his own death crashed down on him, and to ask the unanswerable "How?"

Xardius leaped up as the death bullets launched towards himself and Xane, and raised his hands. Flame leaped up, colliding with the death bullets and exploding.

The death bullets dissipated in midair.

Xardius breathed easier. "That was a lot easier than I thought it would be."

OOC: Because I have to go...I had to cut it short. Sorry for that, but...

 

Vecked glanced out towards the mountains at the shots. "Lets hope those are our boys," Saak said, before saying goodbye to more soldiers. Alyt, Niles, and Saak would stay behind. The rest headed for the Skypit.

Crapo glanced through his files, "Yo Brad? The Brotherhood has the, uh, Light user situation looked into, right?"

"Yeah, yeah. They got that goth freak on it, the hired gun?" The Ulfire office worker replied.

"Thats not our budget he's under, is it? Its, uh, Sora, right?"

"Yeah..."


OOC: Good time for Pharell to come in...

 

OOC: I finally remembered!!! There's always been someone Nulix (the character) reminded me of, and just after I got off last night, I remembered who it was.

It's a pretty fun comic-story, if you haven't, and I recommend it. Check it out if you want, and the guy with the star on his chest is the guy who reminds me of Nulix...

 

Pharell walks in and greets Crapo and Cotaxus.

OOC: I'm sure Nulix will be amused.

 

OOC: Amused? Perhaps.

Hmmm, now what?

 

OOC: Well guess what, Pirate. IM NOT! And I know of Bones, never read it though. I think a buddy of mine has it, I'll check for star chest man.

BIC: "Pharell, the army's about to go into Kingdom Hearts. We're ready to follow. Now, we think the UO isn't going as well, for unknown reasons," Crapo explained, "You, uh, wanna help with the army in Kingdom Hearts or take care of our UO problem?"

 

OOC: I don't think I have anything to do, so I think I'll just read your guys' RPs for a bit, until we're ready to go to the Brotherhood place.

And I'll think of something to scout out there...
