The Ultimate Organization III

Vecked glanced up, "Well thats good for you, Wing. And honestly, Xane. I think you and your girl will be fine. You might have to pay the U.P.A. back with service but if your willing to do that you'll be alright. Wing's got his plans, I'm sure Xardius has got his... or maybe not..."

Vecked sighed, "You all wanna know why we are going to Kanata? Yes its our regroup spot but we could of chosen any free world to do that on. The real reason is... well, you all know my history, right? How I was a Prince of Kingdom Hearts, you remember? Before I remember I was taken away from that world, somehow... and brought into this one. I thought I figured my future out but apparently theres a part I didn't know about. According to my sources, a graveyard in Kanata can show me that part... figure I should do it now before I die. Especially when I might die so soon... so, yeah."

Vecked stood up, "I'm going to the back of the ship, seeing if theres any drink in the freezer..."

 

"Vecked," Xane started. "Let me see if I can get this through to you. We. Will. Not. Lose. So, stop bein' so damn pessimistic," Xane frowned.

 

"He's right Xane, in a way," Xardius said. "The lines for good and bad have blurred. In the eyes of the public, we are dangerous criminals. Why? Because the Universal Organization has pulled the wool over their eyes."

He shook his head. "The sad thing is: how do you fight something like that? Sure, you can kill everyone in the U.O, but that will only drive anarchy through the worlds again."

Xardius sighed. "My goal is to crash the party. But it'll take me some time to find out how."

 

Vecked sighed, "But... do we really want to ruin the U.O.? I don't know if you've noticed, but Sora is broke as hell. Without this Alliance they will loose all culture, just wasting money in defensive military, afraid of an invasion. And an invasion will probably happen, either from Ulfire or the Dark Worlds... its the joint goal of the Virus thats keeping everyone safe..."

 

"So after the final battle, we sever the ties to the three universes again...make it so they cant travel between them anymore. The keyblade should be able to aid in that endeavor. We just need to restore the universes to the way they were before the UPA stepped in and the brotherhood tried to extend its realm."

He stood up fist clenched.

"That's the only way we can truly end this, short of killing all those in power and taking over ourselves."

 

"I'm not sure that that's entirely safe," Xane said.


"It's not," Mellodia said. "Even locking the ties between the three universes is disastrous. Remember all of those years ago when some sort of strange darkness was flowing through the land? The universes were sealed up back then, and leftover dark energy was seeping through. In theory, it was actually some form of the Virus that tried to force it's way through to escape...something," Mellodia said. "Later on the universes were suddenly free for anyone to travel to, and no one quite knows why. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is...destroying the universal ties risks something like that happening ever again.

"Besides, you think severing the ties is easier than just killing the leaders?" Xane asked. "I don't care how many resources they've got, the U.P.A is screwin' up. You can see it with every move they make. And they're little Alliance with the Brotherhood? it won't last if he Brotherhood finally gets what they want. And we don't even know what that is!"

 

"This alliance is based on the Virus. Thats the promise every system involved in the U.O. was given," Vecked muttered. "If the Virus suddenly disappears, then what. They won't randomly rage war, you know how bad that looks? You know how much money that cost? The Brotherhood might try something, but if they do the rest of the U.O. will attack them. It'll show that the truce is for real, attacking a traitor. The Brotherhood might take over a few worlds in Ulfire and Sora but they'll soon be defeated. Then it'll happy world and happy thoughts until Sora's got their culture back. Then, Ulfire or whoever pisses' them off, war starts. The good thing is that the next Sora war is years away..."

"See, now that actually sounds pretty good," Xane nodded.

 

"I know..." Vecked smiled, "I'm not completely sure where we fit into this warless world but still..."

 

"What? You're saying all of us were born for times like this?" Xane asked.

 

"Kanata! Dead ahead!" Niles yelled, interrupting Vecked who was about to respond. "Hold on tight, crew!" Niles said, "We're about to go down! Into the gravity field!"

Lexx walked out of the U.P.A. Mainframe room, his hands in his pockets. He was preparing to make his move, to get his revenge...

 

BIC: Xane and Mellodia braced themselves for landing.

"Also, sir," Pharell started once again with Cotaxus. "Has the been any word from Lexx yet? He's been quiet..."


OOC; Just playing along with it for now. You know I never actually thought I'd dislike Lexx more than Skinnar, but after a while it appeared that Skinnar wasn't so bad after all and Lexx was the bad guy.

 

"Lexx is just a mission secretary, Pharell," Cotaxus muttered, lighting up a cigar. "I heard he was with the, uh, fourth team now. You know, Captain Revolvo, Captain Anarus, and Captain Talos... those idiots. I've heard he's constantly angry but other then that he's harmless. Hell, I'd be angry too if I once controlled all of Sora and then got demoted to secretary... heh, what an idiot..."

OOC: Yeah, well I wouldn't say Lexx is that bad a guy. He wanted a position which he actually couldn't handle, being Hairis. And there was no way in hell some twenty-something year old college graduate in the public service department could become Hairis, so he tried illegal ways to get this position.
And eventually he got it, kinda. And he couldn't handle it. Thus the economic disaster that was the Six Sora System. Lexx was just a guy who wanted too much, he wasn't necessarily evil... well, alright, maybe he was a little. But don't worry, by the end of the session Lexx will become a much more heroic character.

 

"Yeah, I really can't stand idiots who think they're qualified for the U.P.A," Pharell replied, with heavily veiled sarcasm. "I mean...The U.O."

"So, what now?" Xane asked. "Chill until all of the EK ships land here?"

 

"Yup, yup," Vecked muttered. Niles stood and stretched while the air locks opened, "Hopefully theres a hotel nearby," Niles muttered. "I mean, this place isn't even a town, where we landed. Its a village in the middle of nowhere. Why did you want to come here again, Vecked?"

"I told you already," Vecked replied as the doors opened. Outside stood Saak, behind a good seven or eight dozen light users clad in gold armor. Behind them stood most of the people who attended the meeting.

"Well, the Skypit expedition army is ready," Saak said. "We were waiting for your ship to arrive, UO."

Cotaxus' communicator began to vibrate. He flipped the speak button on. "What's up, HQ?" Cotaxus asked. "Supreme Captain, sir!" A voice yelled. "The mainframe has been hacked, hijacked! We think it was a secretary, level 2 or 3!"

"What?!" Cotaxus yelled, "Hack it back!"

"Its our main computer, sir! We can't overpower it easily. And the hacker's heavily protected the override system!"

 

"Yo, Saak!" Xane shouted. "Was wondering where everyone else went."

"There are only three people who have the skills neccesary to hack our systems," Pharell started in an agitated tone. "One them dead, the other in our ally, the Brotherhood's, service, and the last one being a disgruntled ex-Hairis in our own employ. That last one being placed under the command of morons who can't tie their shoe laces without an order from Hairess Skinnar. What were you thinking?! Leaving Lexx of all people in a low level unit that had essentially nothing to do!? Please enlighten me!"

 

"Me!?" Cotaxus said, "I'm the Supreme Captain! Space only! Lexx's employment was directly from my Gran Hairis, Skinnar! And we don't even know if it was Lexx! All we know is that its one of the secretary's..."

Cotaxus pressed a few buttons on his communicator, "I just checked... Lexx is the only secretary not at his station... so it was him. This is... bad, we're screwed. The Maxilo forces, all inactive, not to mention our communications or wireless devices, most of those go through the mainframe!"

Cotaxus glanced at Pharell, "Were in some real trouble now."

Saak smiled, "We have the campsite's ready nearby. Come, please. Tell us what you've seen of the enemy."

 

OOC: Had to do chores and stuff.

BIC: Pharell sat down on the silver tiled floor.

"If this continues, we'll be using our reserve power in a few minutes," he sighed. "We're stuck here for now."

Xane nodded and headed towards the campsite.

"We've seen enough to know that their army was massive," Xane said. "The others got a better look than me, though."

 

OOC: Seems a common theme for your characters; Vecked - started out horrible, more enlightenment showed that he wasn't all that bad, became allies of a sort. Skinnar - started out as a bad guy, but quickly turned into an ally with Tera Roth; later came back as a bad guy, but you kind of like him now; and finally Lexx - started out as a nobody, but quickly shoved himself into the arena as someone no one thought was all that bad, until he did crap and is now horrible.

BIC: Dyran and Highwind entered the atmosphere, landing nearby. Highwind pocketed the Virus crystal as they landed, and walked off.

Highwind opened his phone and called Xardius, "We're here. Did you see us come down? Good, where are you?"

Xardius hung up the phone. "Highwind should be here in a few minutes. He just landed."

 

Wing walked with the others to the campsite. He was sure to give Highwind a good punch for making him worry. He was relieved that the guardian was still alive.
