Xardius considered it. "A pretty sound plan. Works for me. Nice thinking."

He checked his watch. "How long until we reach Kataka?"

"Eight minutes," Niles replied. He was swerving around in his co-pilot chair. "So your brothers pretty insane, eh Niles?" Vecked said to Niles. Niles smiled back, "Calm down Vecked... your not the picture image of a brother yourself..."

Xardius grunted. ....................................It's going to be mine. A grin spread across his face. An unpleasant grin. With it in my hand, maybe I'll finally be able to...

Vecked looked up at Xardius, "Whats your problem? Whats with the face?"

"I was joking, by the way," Xane chuckled, though slightly disturbed by Xardius' weird look. "For the most part, anyway. So, what's on Kanata that we need? Just refuge or more?"

"It's the face of someone who has nothing left to lose," Xardius growled. "I apologize in advance."

"I haven't done it yet," Xardius grunted, taking a seat. "So I can't tell you. But I probably will, so..." He shrugged.

Vecked glanced at Xardius, before turning to the rest of the group. "Who's got the Virus now? Do they have it in one of those orbs? Is it secure?"

"I don't think the U.O. has it," Xardius said. "I still think Highwind has it. And if he does, it's in one of the crystals he took from me."

"I never liked Highwind..." Vecked muttered, "And I doubt its safe with him. Wing had trouble staying in control of it. It can take over your mind... is Highwinds mind stronger than Wings? I don't think so... is he meeting us on Kanata?"

Xardius shrugged. "I doubt he really cares for you either. And yes, I would suspect so. He doesn't want the Virus around anymore than the rest of us does. In reality, he just thinks it's weird; he doesn't believe it can take over others' minds. That will probably safeguard him a little. It's harder to get someone to do something if they think it's impossible."

"Even if he is on our side, Highwind's...unstable," Xane said. "But, I guess it's like you said. That's probably what makes him best at resisting the power of the Virus."

"Greetings, Captain Titan!" an officer said, saluted Pharell as he walked towards camp, approaching Cotaxus. Pharell had soon arrived with his fleet destroying many attacking EK-Fighters with their arrival.

"Cotaxus," Pharell began. "I've just come back from checking on civilian affairs...They hate us, Cotaxus. They want this wa-...This skirmish to end as soon as possible and they want some sort of statement from Hairess Skinnar. I tried contacting him earlier, but he wasn't taking any calls."

"This isn't a war..." Cotaxus muttered back, defensively. "God damn people... ya see? They hate the Brotherhood. They want us to go to war! Oh no, war makes people die? Our people? Then we want peace! We give them peace. Richards is kicked out, Skinnar, the face of peace, is in... now we make huge progress! We avoid nuclear armageddon with Ulfire, make a peace alliance... We just try to justify peace by getting some power behind it, its a god damn war again!"

Cotaxus sighed, "I'll see if Crapo can talk to him. Skinnar is more willing to talk with people not under his control... so, I'll tell Crapo to... to, uh, send the message..."

Cotaxus sighed, "Well... at least we ain't losin' anything... not with this army behind us. The Universal Organization is unstoppable..."

"Highwind and Dyran have the virus contained in one of Xardius's crystals...his are stronger then the ones from prism....their older."

He crossed his arms and cocked his head to the side.

"Vecked, with your plan...are we all going? I want to personally see the virus get thrown into the skypit....hell, I want to do the honors.... how's that wraith your carrying around like that idea Xardius?"

He sent an devilish smirk towards his comrade.

"Oh god no, were not going..." Vecked replied. "Not right away. I'm sending a large group, led by Light users, into Kingdom Hearts. Theres an abandoned city beside the Skypit. When they are there someone in that group will set up a teleporter. We have the Virus in the Light worlds this whole time. Once we get the okay we head in, go to the Skypit, and finish our mission..."

"I don't think the wraith has that much sentience," Xardius said wryly.

"In the meantime, I think we need to discuss our future," Xardius grumbled. "We don't have much of one."

He shrugged. "What I mean is: we're like a raw gun pointed at anything that snaps at us. We keep firing without ever waiting to reload. Sooner or later, we're going to run out of bullets and we'll be swamped. Beyond that, what happens when there's nothing left to shoot at?"

He shook his head. "Nulix, at least, has gotten himself a way into the future. I have some money stashed away I can give the rest of you, but I don't think you'd appreciate a free ticket. Not unless I've misjudged you all."

Xardius scratched his cheek irritably. "Oh, and by the way, when Highwind gives us the Virus, I'm hanging onto it. For one, I know how the crystal works, and for two, I'd love to see the Virus try to take over me. Just let it try." His grin could have stopped a charging bull in its tracks. "Just let it try."

His grin slipped as he coughed. "Um, er, back to the future thing."

Vecked glanced up, "No... I really don't think its a good idea. I spent the last half a year studying this thing. Mixing it with a powerhouse like yourself is a very bad idea, Xardius... the Virus is powerful enough to break free from its cage, unless a man who's felt it weak holds it again... a quote from the Virus transcriptions meeting on April first of last year. It needs to be Wing..."

The whole ship was looking at Vecked, who had gone on a mini rant about a small detail. "It really needs to be Wing," Vecked said, shifting in his seat.

"And as for the future thing... lets just say I have plans," Vecked muttered, "The rest of you can plan things out in the forty to fifty years of prison time you'll have. That or nothing. That or a bullet in the head and an electric helmet..."

Lexx looked out his apartment window. Out at Destiny City. It was late. There was a blackout. Lexx knew it would only last a second. He enjoyed the darkness. He could see the stars. The Kingdom of Sumer could even be seen.

Lexx sighed as the stars dimmed. The lights of the city flickered back to life. “I want it back,” Lexx whispered into his empty bear bottle. “I’ll get it back…”

Wing held the back of his hand to his mouth to stifle a chuckle.

"Sorry, Vecked, I dont plan on going to prison, or end up dead any time soon. I'm going to look through the Twilight Realm and worlds to see if there's any way of restoring Twilight Town."

He looked out the window, and sighed dejectedly.

"If there is such a way..."

He looked at Xardius and cocked a smile. "And about the virius, I'll hold on to it like vecked said. After all, you trained me to use the same crystals."

OOC: I'm just impressed you keep posting everyday Wing!

BIC: Xardius shrugged, looking grumpy. "Whatever. Wing can have the thing. It's not like I really want it..."

"I might be able to help you with the Twilight Town thing," Xardius said. "There should be some old records somewhere of how to revive a world; they're practically impossible to destroy...It should be a little more complicated than simply restoring the balance of light and dark, and restoring the world's heart to full power. The world should be fine after that...I think...I don't know if that's how it works..."

"My future's full of holes," Highwind muttered, staring at the Virus' crystal.

"Be careful with that," Dyran said. Highwind shook his head.

"I've had already been a casualty of corruption once," Highwind muttered. "My firewalls are at their maximum. Besides, I think it's better if I look at it. That way I can tell if it tries anything."

"I thought you said it couldn't," Dyran muttered. Highwind shook his head.

"I don't think it will," Highwind said. "I'm not ambitious enough."

Dyran was silent for a moment. "What about your future?"

    Highwind sighed. "What about yours?"

Dyran was silent for an even longer moment. "I gave it up for someone else."

Highwind looked at him sharply. "Who?"

"A mutual friend," Dyran said. "Fifteen minutes until we reach Kataka."

Highwind stared at him for a long moment, hoping for something more, but eventually just leaned back in his chair again, staring at the Virus crystal. Fifteen minutes was still a long way ago.
