OOC: That's about as lame as having your car broken into and the only thing stolen is your camera which held little meaning to anyone else, but real special meaning to you, like a picture of a sunrise the day you got up and hiked two miles to get on top of the mountain and feel the wind in your hair and watch the sun climb higher and warm you up, and just feel peaceful...

At least, that's what I've heard...

BIC: "Swanson?" Dyran asked, brow furrowing as he ran behind Wing. "Who's that?"

 

OOC:I had a picture similar to that. We were on a dolphin cruise, and I managed to snap a photo of a beautiful three masted ship cruising right by the sunset. I even bought a frame for the photo. Wasted $10.

 

OOC: It's never happened to me; I was just trying to sympathize, XD.

I am sorry for your loss.

 

OOC: Don't worry about it. I might be able to borrow some pictures from some friends to show you some of my trip.

 

OOC: That's great. OOOOH, I wanna RP!

 

OOC:Today, I may finally be able...as long as I don't have to get off for dinner first. I'll see how long I can stay on before then.

 

OOC: I'm going to zonk in and out...if that makes sense.

 

"A knight of Emerald rank. Jack Swanson. We come from the same home world. We were enemies at one point...then I went to Laurenska and we met up again as friends, after all the war on our home had been over for two years. Then after we parted ways, he joined the Knights and I joined the Guardians and UO....we've been enemies again ever sense."

He said turning a corner and ducking into what looked like a control room.

 

OOC: The control room for the gate?

BIC: Dyran followed, silent for a moment. "Is that a problem?" he asked finally. "What will he do if he finds you?" Or more to the point, what will you do? he thought to himself.

 

OOC: Sure lol

BIC:

Wing smirked

"Well, we'll probably end up in a keyblade fight, battling with blades and magic. Then we'll tie, and i'll pull out all the stops and today he'll lose to me, or give up his Knight status and fight with me.

 

OOC: Man, I apologize. I kept checking back to see if there were any new posts, but I forgot to reload the page each time. I am so stupid sometimes.

BIC: Dyran nodded, smiling to himself. He found the switch for the alarm and turned it off. "Looks like the Knights are down Passage 9."

He pointed at a passage and ran towards it, trusting in Wing to follow.

 

OOC: np man its cool lol i d that too

Bic: Wing followed, feeling the excitement in his body begin to build, today he was going to finish what Darxess had started. today he would be the king, the bishop, the rook, the pawn, call him whatever you will. Wing was going to put the knights into Checkmate once and for all.

"Leave them to me. You know what we're after here, so i dont want you hurt. Dont worry about me. Today im your warrior to use as you please....master."

He sid with a smirk, keyblades appearing in his hands as the sound of armor clanking together grew louder and louder. Then he saw them, their armorer familiar to his blades, their identical faceless forms unintimidating to his seasoned battle worn body.

 

Dyran was a little creeped out, but didn't say so.

"Who would, right?" Tyre said, suddenly running alongside Dyran. Dyran nearly tripped on his face, but Tyre grabbed his arm and pulled him back up.

"Who...?" Dyran began.

Tyre sighed. "Tyre Rutherford. You're really not him are you? I had hoped...Never mind."

"Tera Roth's dead," Dyran growled.

Tyre's eyes hardened around the edges. "I said never mind. We're already moving to attack the Brotherhood through the open gate. I'm supposed to take you to Highwind. He's got the Virus under wraps somehow."

Dyran shook his head. "We can't take it out ourselves."

Tyre smiled slightly. "Of course not."

OOC: If Wing wants to say something to Tyre...

 

"Tyre, Highwind told me to call him before all this mess with the virus started...you know anything about it?"

He then looked at Dyran closer...he did bear a resemblance...

"Hes not Tera Roth...though the similarity is very familiar... Now lets get going!"

 

Tyre looked at Wing. "I think he'd better explain that...Down there."

He pointed down a passage, and disappeared down another one.

Dyran ran down the passageway to find Highwind staring at...darkness.

"Good evening," Highwind said. "Wing, you remember when I asked you to help us? Now's the time."

He pulled out a packet of letters. "These are letters from several Guardians, including myself and Tyre, to our families, wives, etc. I'd like you to deliver them when you can."

He shrugged. "You have the best chance of surviving this show."

 

Wing hands shook slightly as he took the letters from Highwind.

"You cant be serious?! You have all survived countless battles, beaten impossible odds! Now your telling me this could be it? First xardius, then Tera...now all of you? I'll be the last guardian..."

He tucked the letters into his bag that hung around his shoulder.

"i'll do what i can, you know you cant count on me....but im not going to let any of you die! you know that. I made you all a promise back then when you all saved me countless times! I said when the day came, i'd return the favor! You all have things to live for! I have nothing now, please, tell me what to do and I'll do it instead of you!"

he felt the tears burn his cheeks, as his hands balled themselves into fists.

"you cant leave them behind...you cant! THey'll cry forever...highwind, Tyre..."

He ran to the darkness, standing between it and Highwind.

"I'll do it. I started this fight. I'm the reason why this virus was created. Its my fight."

 

Highwind looked rather dismal. "We have survived many battles, Wing. It's only natural the odds catch up to us once in a while. Tera Roth just saw it coming. It got the rest of us thinking too."

"Still," Highwind said. "I don't have any intention of dying, but I am taking the precautions necessary if I do."

He shook his head. "About the Virus...I'm using all of my power right now just to contain it. You need to take it to the Skypit, correct? To really destroy it? Here, it will just run away."

Dyran nodded. "Yes. So how do we do it?"

"We combine mine and Wing's powers," Highwind said. "Momentarily, I'll have enough power to crush the Virus into one of those crystals Xardius always has."

He held up one. "Which I have one of. This thing could withstand the force of the universe exploding. Handy suckers. It will keep the Virus...for a time. You'll probably have at most three days to get it to the Skypit before it breaks free."

He held out a hand for Wing. "I work better with physical contact. Flood your power into me through our hands, and I'll condense this bubble."

 

OOC: sorry ppl needed me.....last post for the night...i gotta keep an eye on my two depresed friends...

BIC:

wing nodded and grasped Highwinds hand, and let his power sruge to his friend.

"This is the final day this virus will be allowed to exist..." He said through gritted teeth.

"I promise!"

 

OOC: Was gone again. Spring Break stuff. Can anyone fill me in on what I missed?
