    "We already buried Tera Roth, though," Xane said. "And Wing sealed the grave up with his magic."

    "Don't need a body for a funereal," Vecked muttered. "Besides, when the funereal comes around, I doubt Tera Roth will be the only one to burry..."

    "That sounds horribly pessimistic," Dyran said, his smile not touching his eyes. "Some things are better left unsaid."

    He turned back to the computer. "We're nearly there. I'm going to get ready."

    He stood and walked to the quarters in the ship, entering the storage room and rummaging through the supplies there. He strapped on water packets, food packets, and several other assortments of items, such as rope. Looking around for anything else, he waited for the ship to land.

    Wing stood with his arms folded. He didnt know where they were headed know, but he hoped they were off to finish the Virus, and finally, the Brotherhood. His fist connected with the wall as the Brotherhood crossed his mind, every thing they had done, everything they were going to do. He was ready to defeat them once and for all.

    He'd spent lifetimes fighting with or against them, but this would be the last time. He needed this to be the last time, no the universes need this to be the last time.

    "It'll all end in flames..." He muttered under his breath, the young "Phoenix" was growing very impatient. Yet could you blame him? He lost his mentor, and possibly his best friend. There wasn't to much more he could take before snapping and going it alone. But he knew he would need to do whatever needed to be done

    "Well, everyone looks happy," Xane sighed, sarcastically. "How long do we have 'till landing time, anyway?"

    Xane looked outside the window, noticing how dark it was getting, despite it not being that late.

    "Say, how close are we?" Xane asked.

    OOC: What are we doing anyway? Last I remembered, we were all at the lake of light and we decided to go to the dark side of Kingdom Hearts to destroy the Virus... but first we needed to hunt it back down... so yeah, where are we going?

    OOC: You mentioned a while ago that the Skypit was the darkest place you knew, so we were going to go there. But...

    BIC: "The Skypit is right there," Dyran said, pointing a finger out the window as he approached. "We'll need to bring the Virus here."

    His phone beeped, and he pulled it out of his pocket. "I just got a message: Al and Marcus have managed to find the Guardians, who have the Virus in custody. But there's a problem..."

    He looked up. "They're in the middle of a war no one knew about."

    Dyran sighed, and sat down in a chair. "The Guardians, including Highwind and Tyre, managed to find the one place the Virus has been hiding when it's not running around." He leaned back. "Larenska, dark side. Inside the tunnels that lead to the light world Larenska."

    "They waited for it to return, then captured it...I'm not sure how, but they have it contained," Dyran continued. "About that time, they were discovered by their own soldiers: the Enigmatic Knights. About five minutes later, the Brotherhood arrived. I'm guessing they fought."

    "I'm not exactly sure what happened next, but it seems that the Enigmatic Knights and Guardians are trapped in the cave system, the forgotten Brotherhood army on Larenska is keeping them there, or are being held themselves by the third army there: an army that Marcus and Al are currently in contact with. It seems that they're the army from the light side of Larenska, and aren't happy with either the Knights or the Brotherhood."

    Dyran shook his head. "To make matters worse, the Universal Army or whatever has just learned of it as well, and are heading there with an army of their own. Most likely they'll try to claim the Brotherhood into their own army, as I've heard has been happening already, steal the Virus and kill the Knights, and subdue the third army."

    He steepled his fingers. "I won't tell you what to do, but I think we should get there as soon as possible."

    OOC: The plot lives!!!!

    BIC: "The Dark Side of Larenska, huh?" Xane asked, putting the coordinates into the ship. "That's the Brotherhood's headquarters as well, right? And they're in the middle of some secret war? Sounds like fun," Xane said, inclining back into his seat. "We need to make any preparations, or what?"

    Wing chuckled as he looked sideways out the ships window.

    "there is nothing you can do to prepare for the brotherhood Xane. Just fight your hardest and hope your dreams are more important then the man you're up against. That's war after all. Everyone has a plan or a reason, yet no one does."

    OOC: Nothing in life is ever simple...

    Here's the prologue from Season Two of the UO: Tell me what you guys think.

    Prologue: Fragment

    The air was uncommonly still today, Dan noted as he peered apprehensively at the looming leafless trees. His breath misted in front of his dry and cracked lips, the moisture returning to fade into the cracks and crevasses of a worn, aging face.

    Dan wiped sweat from his forehead, and flicked the reins again, trying to urge old Bess into a trot, but the hobbling horse barely acknowledged the command with a slight flick of her tail. Dan wished it wasn’t so cold. He wished he didn’t feel like he was being watched.

    The man in the cart stirred below him, the old straw cracking loudly, making Dan jump and the rotting wood creak underneath him. Out of the corner of his eye, Dan watched the man, wondering what again a man like this was doing out here, if not the middle of nowhere, very close.

    The man was huge, with broad shoulders and a towering height, taller than anyone else Dan had ever seen. Crimson hair spilled down to frame what might be considered handsome if it hadn’t been for the perpetual sneer that twisted the man’s features, and the shockingly blue eyes that peered darkly out at a world, seeming to miss nothing.

    Beyond that, the man seemed to simply exude confidence and danger. Goosebumps popped out on Dan’s skin as he remembered how the man had seemingly stepped from the shadows to ask for a ride. Dan had been too frightened to say no, especially after seeing the man’s sword, a massive thing that extended nearly as long as the man was tall, now leaning against the cart wall.

    Dan once again wondered where the man had come from; he was dressed in plated metallic armor, colored the same as the man’s hair, but now washed over in dust and grime from the road. Was he a lost soldier? Dan couldn’t think so: he’d never seen armor patterned like that on a soldier, and from personal experience knew that no man would be allowed to carry a sword like that.

    Dan suddenly realized the man was staring back at him, and he snapped his eyes forward, trying to ignore the sudden beads of sweat rolling down his face. Like two pinpoints of heat, he thought he could feel the man’s eyes on him, then suddenly they were gone, and he heard the scrapes of the man’s boots as he stood.

    A thump behind him, and Dan turned to see the man brushing himself off, grasp his sword as if it were a feather, and swing it behind him, beginning to bind it to his back with several long, sturdy straps.

    “I’ll walk from here on,†the man said, eyeing Dan up with an almost predatory stare. “I thank you again for the ride.†The appreciation was spoiled by the smirk that flashed onto the man’s face. If Dan didn’t know better, he would swear the man was amused.

    Dan nodded, not daring himself to speak lest him come out in a wordless squeak. He’d never felt so relieved to see anybody go in his life, not even old Langley, who had been pestering him for the last 30 years of his life over property lines.

    Dan turned back and managed to get Bess to trot, trying to gain as much distance between himself and the mysterious man as he could. He almost thought he could feel those two blue suns on the back of his head, but when he turned, the man was looking around, a dark frown on his face.

    As Dan turned back to the front of the road, he froze. In front of him strode death itself, a creature of darkness and shadows, claws dragging along the road, eyes intent on him. Bess didn’t seem to notice as she plodded towards the Shadow.

    Fear penetrated every aspect of Dan’s being: He remembered meeting one of a Shadow’s victims. There wasn’t much left of the man. It was like an empty shell that registered nothing, like a man emptied of all mind and thought. Dan wanted to scream but all that came out were pained gasps as the Shadow grew closer. He didn’t want to die. Not yet.

    The Shadow flowed over the ground towards Bess, caressing the horse’s neck slowly with long fingers, then seemed to thrust upwards into Bess’ skull, wrenching its hand back out, carrying a softly glowing something. Bess stiffened and collapsed, bringing the cart down with her as the Shadow absorbed the light to itself, seeming to grow larger and twitching as if in the throes of a stroke.

    Dan flew forward as Bess collapsed, landing on top of the as good as dead horse, and rolled to the side, desperately scrambling to his feet, his only thought escape.

    Almost lazily, the Shadow’s hand extended, the long fingers reaching towards him. Dan’s scream wrenched itself from his throat as those long fingers touched him...

    A blur of motion from the corner of his eye coincided with the end of the sensation of having Dan’s soul ripped out. Stumbling towards a tree, Dan turned, heart pounding and eyes wide. His breath caught.

    The man he’d dropped off was contemptuously completing the swing that had sliced the Shadow’s arm clean off, and Dan became aware that the Shadow was screaming, unlike any other scream he’d ever heard. It was like knowing something was there, but unable to hear it. A dull ache pounded in his forehead from that unbelievable pitch.

    “Shut up already!†the man roared, a bloodcurdling grin on his face. “Just roll over and die!â€

    To suit words to action, his sword swept back, ripping upwards through the Shadow’s chest and cutting the scream off as the Shadow slumped, then oozed downwards off the sword and disappeared into the dark ground.

    “Only one,†the man muttered, his sword arcing up to land neatly on his shoulder. His grin faded into a frown as he scanned the area around. “That’s not like them.â€

    Dan’s bottom hit the dirt as his legs lost all strength. He’d been so close to dying. Poor Bess; his wife would be angry with him for letting the old mare die. He knew he was in shock, but he couldn’t seem to stop shaking.

    Dan looked up to see the man staring at him, cerulean infernos betraying nothing of what he felt.

    “Who are you?†Dan whispered suddenly, startled at the anger he heard in his voice. “Is it because of you that thing showed up?â€

    The man said nothing, but his mouth twisted in irritation. “Don’t be stupid. I just saved your life. You should be grateful.â€

    Dan got to his feet, his fear turning to anger, rage at this man for disrupting his life. “You’re probably one of those Lost Ones, aren’t you? The men and women corrupted by the shadow. You’re no better!â€

    The man’s eyes flashed, and his hand tightened around the sword. “Is that right?â€

    Dan’s sudden rage cooled so rapidly it was stunning, and he found himself fighting for control over his bladder under the man’s glare.

    The man stared at Dan for a moment longer, then turned and faced down the road. “I’d start running, farmer. I won’t be able to stop all of them from ripping what little of a soul you have.â€

    Dan’s head snapped forwards, and his eyes bulged in terror. Marching down the road nonchalantly were Shadows, too many to count, flowing over the ground with ease towards the two men. Dan stumbled backwards,

    “Run,†the man said softly, and Dan looked at him, immediately wishing he hadn’t. The man was grinning like a madman. “Run so I don’t kill you.â€

    Dan turned and ran, letting the sounds of the man’s laughter chase him onwards.

    ***

    “What the...?†Langley muttered, pulling his cart to a halt as he stared at a broken and burnt cart tipped on its side, at the blistered ground and the burned out trees. “What happened here?â€

    The man leaning against one of the burnt trees answered. “Someone decided to light a fire, and it got a little...out of hand.â€

    Langley nearly jumped out of his skin. He could have sworn no one had been standing there a minute ago, especially someone that size.

    “Who are you?†Langley demanded, trying not to let apprehension make his voice quiver. “What do you want?â€

    “The name is Lionheart,†the man replied calmly, his arms folded neatly over his chest. “Tell me, are you going towards Dark City?â€

    I'll probably edit it a little, and the last part probably is rather horrible, since I was in a real hurry, but...yeah.

    BIC: Dyran looked at Wing. "They may be a little stronger than most humans, but the Brotherhood army is just another army."

    He pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, along with his phone, eyeing the phone and making a quick sketch on the paper.

    "From what Marcus wrote, this is the placement of the armies:

    --- = Larenskan
    == = Brotherhood
    ++ = Enigmatic Knights

    ---- == === +++
    ---- == === +++
    ---- == == +++++
    ---- ===== == +++++

    "The separate dashes don't mean anything; the Brotherhood has roughly three times the size of both the Larenskan and Knights' army combined, with the Knights having roughly about 1500 men, and the Larenskan army having about 10000."

    Dyran clipped his pen shut. "As you can see, the Brotherhood force is practically split, but neither the Larenskan army nor the Knights army can break through to join the others without the 'reserve' force of the Brotherhood blocking them. If they could both attack at once, they might be able to join together, but the Brotherhood's blockade of the cave entrance means the best they know is that they're there, not what the other army is doing."

    He shrugged. "I'm not the best at strategy, so you'll have to decide what to do. However you do it, remember that we'll only have a..." He checked his watch. "19 hour time frame before the Universal Army arrives. And that won't be pretty."

    OOC: Just ignore the part where we made it. We could say that Dyran was pointing to a part of the sky where the Skypit was located instead of the Skypit itself.

    I'll be online the rest of tonight, so someone show up please...(That was a useless request.)

    "So we are being squeezed by the Brotherhood as well as this U.O. Army Skinnar's put together," Vecked muttered. "Between a rock and a hard place. And the key out is lost. The Virus is missing... even if we find it god knows we won't be able to capture it, not easily... and if we do the Skypit is not a kind place, without a... a super advanced space suit of some kind we wouldn't be able to survive, not for a second. How the hell we would destroy it there is beyond me."

    Vecked sighed, "There is hope. We have a small army, remember? Saak's Meeting. That was a diverse group with many talents, they can help us. They will help us, some of them, maybe, a few, the ones who want the Virus destroyed, so not most of them, a dozen at best... so we actually really don't have an army. Hmm."

    Dyran shrugged. "Both the Knights and the Larenskan armies have the capacity to rout the Brotherhood army if they struck as one. We'll just need to get a message to both of them. The problem will be getting into the caves where Highwind is containing the Virus. I'm guessing the best he could do was seal off a portion of the caves with darkness...since the Virus is darkness, it wouldn't be able to pass through, because it would lose definition of itself."

    He rubbed one of his temples. "We'll have to get in, get the Brotherhood out of the way, grab the Virus, and dodge...Skinnar's...army. Are we ready?"

    Vecked shook his head, "No... all we need right now is the Virus. I know its tactics, it'll retreat, it can get through the darkness. Darkness might slow it down, slightly, but it will get through. It'll go into space, into an abandoned area of the world. We follow it into the abandoned area. That's our ideal battle ground."

    Alyt glanced up, "If it catches us in space theres no hope. We fight the Virus with a broken down tin can like this there is no hope. We will loose, and in space we will die. We go with plan A. Veked's... stupid."

    Niles shrugged, "I'm all for it."

    Dyran peered at his phone. "Well, Al doesn't say how the Virus is being contained but it is...Maybe it's just biding its time. It's probably smart enough to realize the situation. It will be able to get out eventually, and straining itself would be a lower option."

    He nodded. "Anyway, we're nearly there. Where should we land? I can get us by the Larenskan army or a ways away, if we want to split up and get the message to the Knights. To attack, I mean."

    "I say we charge head first into the enemy!" Niles yelled.

    "Are you serious?" Vecked replied.

    "What? Old Rusty's been through worse," Niles said. "We need to charge, single man attack, in honor of Roth!"

    "How does killing ourselves honor Roth?" Vecked asked.

    "Shut up! We charge now!" Niles yelled. Vecked sighed, before pushing Niles away from the controls. "Tell me where to land, Dyran..." Vecked muttered, slowing the ships down...

    OOC: My characters all seem to work together because I'm used to only having a single group of characters... I'll have to edit that for the redo of the story...

    Hey, did you read the Prologue for Season Two?

    BIC: Dyran shrugged.

    OOC: He does that a lot...

    BIC: "I suggest landing near that mountain range. The Larenskan army will be northwest of that position, the Brotherhood nearly directly above, but one of the entrances to the cave should be able to be infiltrated provided there is a distraction."

    Dyran stared pointedly at Niles. "And we even have a volunteer."
