Is waiting for Tera Roth to move the plot...

BIC: Vecked slowly woke...

 

Blood dripped onto the floor as Tera Roth stumbled forward. His hand was clenched over the rip in his shirt, holding his stomach together as blood leaked between his clenched fingers.

"It's not a choice I had," Tera Roth mumbled. "It's over...You took too long, Xardius...I can't live like this."

He looked up and saw Alyt. He blinked. "Don't blame me. I couldn't help you any more than I could help myself."

He blinked again and she was gone. He licked his lips and looked around, spying Tyre and Highwind.

"You know, don't you? Why...I have to..." They were gone. Xardius stood before him.

"It's your fault," Tera Roth wheezed, coughing blood onto the ground. "You promised..."

Xardius wavered into Alyt, and Tera Roth shook his head. "I tried to love you. But I couldn't. I tried to make you replace her. But in the end, you were just another one of my pawns. I'm sorry. I hope my money will make things right."

He laughed bitterly. "What am I talking about? Money...I sound like Nulix..."

Stumbling forward, he saw Tyre once again. "It's only you and Highwind now. I can't help any longer."

Highwind stepped in front of him, and he stopped. "Prolonged death scenes were never my favorite. And you're just an apparition."

Snarling, Tera Roth moved his way towards the light...

 

"Tera!" Alyt yelled, running towards the almost dead Mr. Roth...

 

Xane ran up towards the Guardians, stopping at the sight of the dying Tera Roth.

 

"Tera," Alyt said, approaching Roth. "No... no god, no." Aly whispered, pulling an health needle from her pocket and jabbing it into Tera's leg. "Tera, listen, please god, listen. You're not gonna die, your not gonna die... I'll take care of you, please, you're not gonna die," Alyt whispered, the panic in her voice betrayed her words...

 

"Alyt..." Xane said calmly, placing his hand on her shoulder.

 

Tera Roth looked back at Alyt. "Too late."

He turned back and fell forwards, into the lake of light, disappearing into the brightness...

OOC: And that's my night. See you guys tomorrow.

 

Alyt collapsed on the ground. Her head was in her arms, but anyone within the mile could hear her sobs...

"Tera Roth's a dead man," Vecked commented, limping into Wing's room, "Probably. And the Virus is gone. We are now officially screwed, Wing. What next?"


OOC: Bye Dk

 

Wing clutched his chest as his heart began pounding. He knew Tera Roth was dying, he could feel it. The two were bonded by Twilight, and now that bond was severing, and it was all his fault. Tears slid down his face as he thought back to all they had been through. He looked across the room and noticed Vecked was awake, but right now that didnt matter. He was glad vecked was gonig to be okay, but losing Tera Roth, was the only thing on his mind. The pain he felt in his heart only reminded him of his dream earlier, where he discovered Xardius was also gone....they were falling one by one, the Virus and Brotherhood was going to claim them all. He had to stop both of them.


"NO!" He shouted, Wings splitting his shirt open. THeir navy blue hue match his glowing eyes and his body pulsed with raw energy. Wind surrounded him knocking everything over in his path. He ripped open a twilight portal and grabbed Vecekd.

"We're finishing this!" He said dragging Vecked back to Twilight Town. Tera Roth was gone, his body no where to been seen. but he did see Alyt Xane and Niles.

"The Virus?" He asked looking for the creature.

OOC: Bye DK

 

OOC: Later, DarKnight!

BIC: Melodis leaned in on Xane, who'd just felt like he'd lost a brother. Looking, at Alyt didn't help much. He felt as if he was holding back tears, himself.

"We haven't seen it, Wing," Xane answered.

 

Vecked looked at Alyt on the ground, the rest of the group watching. There was silence at Wing's question. "Its gone, Wing," Vecked whispered before limping over to Alyt. "Alyt. I know you two loved one another, I'm so sorry."

"Go to hell," Alyt managed to reply, although it was hard to hear through her sobs. Vecked nodded, before walking back over to the group. "Now what?" He asked. "Should we have a funereal or what?"

 

Wing settled down a little, his rage turning to sorrow. tHe wings vanished and he fell to his knees. He placed his hands on Alyt's shoulders and cried with her. Tera Roth was he teacher and a father figure...now he was gone....
"I'm so sorry..." He sobbed into Alyt's ear as he pulled her closer.

 

Vecked watched the two and sighed, "Are we having a funereal or what?" He asked again. "For Christ's sakes, man! Tera Roth is dead!" Niles said, a few tears on his cheek. "He was your team mate! Your fought in Olympia together! You've known each other for years! Ain't you sad? Are you senile or something?"

Vecked glanced at Wing and Alyt. "Tera Roth... was a good man. We move in ten minutes, start gearing up in five..." Vecked said, walking away. "We gear up when we're ready!" Niles yelled back...

 

Wing sobbed a little more and wiped his eyes.

"We'll have a funeral, but we'll hold off on it until everyone that knew him is there. But Vecked's right, we need to move. The Virus is out there again..." He could make himself function, he wanted to just sit and wait for it to all be over, but he was done watching., He vowed hat he would stop the virus and the brotherhood...to avenge both Xardius and Tera Roth. It was his turn to show the enemy what he was made of, and god save them if they weren't afraid.

OOC: Im out for the night see ya

 

OOC: Later, Wing. And I'm assuming that Tera Roth's sword is still there...


BIC: "Sleep, brother, sleep," Xane said, quietly, reaching for Tera Roth's sword and planting it in the ground. "Hey, Wing could you seal the ground up. or something? Make sure this can't be moved."

 

Alyt slowly got up and began to walk, drying her eyes as she did. "Its horrible to loose the one you love, Alyt, I'm truly sorry," Vecked commented. "I didn't... love him," Alyt commented, "I... maybe Tera loved me, I think..."

There was a moment of silence. Alyt then began her walk again, nobody followed her. Vecked looked down. "Time to pack up," He muttered. Niles nodded before pushing past Wing. Vecked sighed, before walking along the lake of light.

Once he reached the other end of the lake, Vecked sat and thought. Thought of Tera Roth. No, just Tera. And then the tears came. Vecked sobbed silently, his reflection in the water a mess. "Tera... you will be missed..."


OOC: See ya, Wing.

 

Silent tears streamed down Xane's face, as well. Though he was sure he hadn't cried since he became a nobody. Mellodia just leaned in, closer. Xane offered her a smile and they walked back into the ship.

 

OOC: Is it just me, or has the thread's quality greatly improved lately? Anyway, I'm out.

 

OOC: It's like you said. Characterization. And a good plot. Anyway, see ya.

 

OOC: Good times... and then watch Dk bring Roth back to life...
