"And it's just sick," Tera Roth muttered to himself. "But that's expected from a guy named Mohan, I guess..."

 

"You captured it," Mohan replied, "You tell us you can capture it but not control it?!"

 

"Those are two different things," Venture interrupted. "It didn't exactly want to be captured. It was forced. We're not here to discuss how to use it against our enemies. We're here to discuss how to destroy it for the good of all of our systems."

 

Wing walked up to Mohan and stared him down, twilight wisps coming from his body.

"Yes, I can capture this creature, but it took nearly everything i had. If i could use it, dont you think i would have by now? the ONLY reason its still in this bracelet is because i'm using an entire world's wroth of magic to hold it in. But please, be my guest, try to call upon it to do your bidding."

He almost handed Mohan the bracelet before rational thought took over. Mohan would be instantly taken over by the virus.

 

Mohan glanced at Wing before turning at the sound of a new voice.

"I agree with Mr. Muscles," One of the Ulfire citizens representatives said. "We are not the U.P.A., we do not use things like this. We need to find out what its weakness is."

 

Tera Roth perked up, wondering if he should say something. After a moment, he decided.

"The Virus is a creature of darkness," Tera Roth said. "I would guess its weakness is light."

 

"I have no weakness. You can never destroy me." The voice flew from Wing's lips, his eyes turning black before their very eyes. The Virus could no longer sit and wait, it was his turn to act.

Wing fell to the floor, his soul being blocked by the Virus's power.

He cried out for help into Vecked's mind, telling him that there was a weakness...he could feel it.

 

"Light, right?" Xane asked. "And where do we find enough light to destroy the Virus? And, uh, Wing? Don't let the Virus do that again..."

 

Mohan raised an eyebrow, high, "Before we all go with this crazy light thing, let me ask, who do you think you are?"

"He's Tera Roth of the League of Roth named after him cause his last names Roth, and who are you?" Niles said, stepping forward. "Watch yourself, U.P.A. boy, I asked the man a question, not you," Mohan said.

EDIT: Vecked looked at Wing, before walking over and pulling him off the ground. "Get up, get hold of yourself," He muttered harshly...

 

Tera Roth merely shook his head. "I was the General of Division 9 before I resigned, I was the leader of the famed Guardians of Larenska, and I was, for a time, the leader of the not so well-known League of Roth. I have...been around."

He shrugged, then raised a sleeve to show Mohan a burn that traced all the way up his forearm.

"And I have fought the Virus many times," he said softly.

 

Wing scowled at Vecked for being so harsh as he regained control. He took the bracelt and threw it to the ground in rage.

"Pick a way to kill this thing now! It Light will kill it, we need some one who can use it!"

He stormed off, leaving the bracelet in the middle of the room. he felt so inadequate. He succumbed so easily.

 

Highwind grabbed Wing by the arm and drew him into the Knights crowd.

"Wing, I need your help," he said.

 

"Decide now," Xane said. "Do you really want that thing running lose, anyway?"

 

"I!" A man said, walking out from a Knight crowd, "I can wield the power of light itself."

The man approached the bracelet and picked it up. "So, this is it... the most powerful thing in the Universe?" The man chuckled, "Lets see how you like a mouth full of light, Virus!" The man was suddenly blaster backwards, hitting several people in the crowd.

"As I expected," Saak muttered. "No light wielder is powerful enough. The Virus has built in defense for its weakness. We have to go to a place where it literally has no power. A place with no darkness. A place made entirely of light."

 

"What, the sun? "Xane asked. "Or, maybe...Kingdom Hearts? What's left of it, anyway."

 

"We try to go back to what used to be Kingdom Heart's and we'd all die of radiation poisoning," Vecked muttered, "And we would all die of death if we went to the sun..."

 

Wing looked up into Highwind's eyes and nodded.

"Anything for an old friend."
He then watched the light wielder get thrown back...and Saak's words.

"The Light Realm. There is a lake made of nothing but pure light... THe only downfall is only a Guardian of the three celestial elements can enter the realms. So It'll have to be me...or Vecked."

 

"How fast can we get there?" Vecked asked, looking at the Virus sphere, still on the ground.

 

"I was thinking, we could just throw it in there and be done with it," Xane shrugged. "But, Wing's plan sounds better."

 

Highwind handed Wing a piece of paper. "You're not worthless. Call this number when you're done with the Virus, and I'll notify you of what you need to do. You can tell whoever you like, and bring whoever too."

His lips twitched into a smile. "But maybe not the entire UO, hmm?"

He turned and walked away.

Tera Roth nodded. "I can probably manage to be there...I think. I'll accompany either one of you, just to make sure nothing bad happens."
