The Ultimate Organization III

"Screw you man!" Nulix replied, "You get nothing except, oh I dunno, living a good life without Bandits killing and steeling you and your towns useless belongings slash people!"

 

The man shrugged. "Yeah, that's what I thought. No one hires me. Ever."

"About the drooling face thing..." Xardius said.

"Oh, yeah, I made that up," the man said. "But since you listened to me, I'll have to charge the guy-with-the-gunblade-who-looks-like-a-wimp 500 gil because I don't tell stories for free..."

 

"What?!" Nulix yelled, outraged, "Do you know who we are?! We are your saviors?! You should pay us 500 gil for even being in our breathing space!"

 

"No one would know about you blokes if it weren't for me," the man smirked. "I've been spreading propaganda all over, and that book you 'borrowed' costs money. Since you took it, you owe me, since I sell them. That's another 500 gil right there. So that's 1000 you owe me now...Plus tax."

 

"Oh this is rich, right here, Xardius, rich as rich," Nulix said, "Do you know who we are? We have friends, friends in the Universal Peace Alliance, owners of all military everywhere in known civilization, so I guess this rock wouldn't be in their jurisdiction, oh! Our buddy's in the public resource department, such as Lexx, have been spreading the truth about us to the world! We didn't hire you to quote help out unquote, what you did was just a random act... we owe you nothing, in fact, you owe us for using our image with out our consent."

 

The man clicked his tongue. "Is that so? Because I have a filed patent from the UPA in my back pocket that says I can sell their books on this world, as well as other propaganda, and I'm due for a payment. It's my job, until they fire me, or don't pay me for so long that I have to find something else to do."

The man smiled and held out his hand. "Since you just suggested you're a representative of the people I work for, you should lawfully be able to pay me the 10000 gil you owe me."

He wiggled his fingers.

 

OOC: My nonsense radar started acting up again. Looks like I'll have to end this money talk...

BIC: As the man spoke, he was ambushed by a bandit who was hiding behind an obscure rock formation. A dagger was pressed up to his neck.

"The Ultimate Organization, right? Follow me," the bandit sneered.

 

Nulix chuckled, "So your just a hired hand... Alright, the U.P.A. will pay you then. I said we we had a connection from them, that is not evidence that we do... we don't owe you a damn thing. Besides, the U.P.A. doesn't have our consent for this either, and since you are the individual spreading our image we can in fact sue you for... however much our image is worth. You lose, funny man. Pay up so we avoid the court now, cause trust me, I'll go there."

Suddenly the bandit came out of nowhere...

 

"I think...I lost," the man said, as the bandit grabbed him. "That's unusual..."

"Holding me hostage costs 6000 gil an hour," the man said. "And since holding a dagger to my throat constitutes considerable danger to my life, that's another 4000 gil on top of that. When will you pay me?"

Xardius coughed. "Just ignore him. Lead on...or whatever."

 

"And try not to kill him," Nulix said to the Bandit, "He owes us a whole lot of money."

 

The bandit threw the babbling man away, as he motioned for the Ultimate Organization to follow him down a short mountain pass. When they reached the end of the pass, they saw hundreds of bandits gathered around a large man on a throne.

"Ah, the Ultimate Organization!" the large man yelled. "Tell...why do you have to continue to ruin peoples' lives? You give them hope. The hope that you can save each and every last one of them, when you know you can't. How does it feel?" The man asked once more, drawing out a keyblade.

 

"This guy seems familiar," Xardius said, scratching his head as the man ran away as fast as he could go.

 

"Well, we can, and we will, against scum like you at least," Nulix replied, drawing his gunblade...

 

OOC: He does? I mean, he is a character mentioned before...(In the fanfic), but I don't think he should be remembered by anyone, really...


BIC: "Familiar, eh?" the man said, leaping out of his throne. "Well, I didn't know you personally, but I was a former member of the Enigmatic Knights!"

 

OOC: Nah, Xardius just remembers him...

BIC: Xardius shrugged. "That would be why then...So, you're going to...try to kill us...? And isn't this a bit unrealistic...? Hundreds of bandits when the town population is just over two hundred...? How are you feeding all these guys...? Are you...sane?"

OOC: Gotta go for dinner, be back in a few.

 

"Whatever, lets just kill, big X," Nulix replied to Xardius...

 

"We raid other surviving small towns, of course," the leader of the bandits explained. "Aurora City is just our favorite pillaging spot. Anyway, enough talk. Let's see how strong you people really are..."

The man suddenly charged towards Nulix...

 

Nulix dodged all crazy...

 

The man lifted up Nulix by the collar and tossed him across the floor.

"I remember you..." the man said. "You were one of the members who defeated the second regiment of knights we sent to attack the UO all those years ago," the man growled taking a swing. "Unfortunately, I was given the daunting task of recording all of the Knights' files on all of you scum. One of the reasons I quit!" The former knight yelled, swinging his keyblade at Nulix' head.

 

Xardius' sword intercepted the blow, clashing and rejecting the keyblade, forcing the man's arm back towards his opposite shoulder, knocking him off balance, which left him open for Xardius to punch him and send him flying.

"Mr. X?" Xardius asked, raising an eyebrow. "...Catchy..."
