"Hey, wait up!" Bella yelled, following as well. She dragged a bit though, trying to be careful with the bandaged arm. I swear, one of these days I'll learn how to heal...

OOC:I've certainly felt that way a lot, but somehow I keep coming back. And I'm glad for it. However, I have been thinking, and while it was nowhere near as "professional" as our RP is now, I keep thinking our earlier days were just outright more fun. Nothing personal, of course, but our earlier adventures just had that bit of spontaneity and no one, even me, had any idea what was going to go on next. It was the days when instead of one or two people coming up with a plot, everyone joined and pitched in with the storyline and each person had an equal effect on the overall story, when they came up with ideas, of course (Thus, I never took too large a part of the storyline anyway, except for the start, and that was about it. Not that I minded, I was still having fun) But this whole, "Ok, we go here, fight this guy, get all beat up and somehow win, then repeat process with next guy" just is really anti-climatic. I love it when storylines throw you for a loop, but so far its far too predictable, no offense. Now, I have been gone a loooong time, so I am most certainly not one to judge, and perhaps really unique things have been happening while I was gone, I don't know, but I love it when things are decided on a whim and the story writes itself more than the people behind do, more or less, where the story grows and takes you in new directions you've never thought of. You guys might have something epic planned, so this might be just a useless rant of bull, still these are my thoughts. I am not saying, however, that the story was devoid of these moments, heck even the very last time I was here, stuff like that happened. Back in the tournament against the gods (wow that was a long time ago) Wing lost his fight and Nulix introduced Ulian Echo (Wasn't that his name? Sorry, I've been gone too long) and had that entire branching storyline behind the scenes of the tournament instead of just having another fight like the rest of us. That was cool. That's the stuff I want to see. The unexpected, not the pointless fights one after another.

OOC: Hey, Darxess want to continue to RP the conversation between Pharell and Darxess?

EDIT: And you just went offline...

OOC: Actually, that's really a good point. This is getting boring because we're doing that right now. It's because both me and Nulix are trying to finalize our plots, so there aren't any new plot twists or anything.

    So it's really boring... *sigh*

And Pirate, why don't you post about Xardius finding Raijin or something...

OOC: It's also boring because no one is here at the same time. Sorry fo the delay, by the way. I had dinner.

BIC: Tul Raijin's sword was suddenly planted right at Xardius' feet. If the Phoenix looked forward, he would see Raijin walking down the tower steps.

OOC: Plus we are really slowing things down with random fights... so...

And yeah, I try to make things fun. I try to add some sort of mystery to stuff to my characters. Have the UO travel around and have them meet random, funny characters... like Ouegh. I don't just have a random outline saying we have to fight this guy, then this guy, then this guy. I actually try to have the characters travel and have cool interactions... and I'll admit, this rp hasn't been fun since we captured Skinnar, back on that one world. That was our last really fun Rp season, and the more interesting, definitely.

Not to criticize you too much, Dk. But your doing the exact same thing in this Rp as the guy is in the comic book rp, the one your complaining about. Your just sending our characters on random fights that are impossible to beat, and we're supposed to stay interested? No, thats why I love the Kingdom Hearts saga, because it was literally traveling and meeting characters the whole time. Just a whole lot of classical traveling and Rp'ing, and it had the best story line of all our time here (maybe).

OOC: Yeah, I agree with you here. I'll try to go back to that with my upcoming arc.

But, my favorite will always be Asgard. Why? We actually had a great balance between fighting and plot. It actually worked out.

I admit, we've been in kind of a slump now, which is why we need to head off and fight Scourge. This little conversation has actually made me think of how I can up the ante on my arc.

OOC: Well, I can't change anything now but for future arcs, what would you have liked to have done differently?

I mean, I hate to say it but I can't think of another way to really get rid of the Brotherhood besides wiping them out. I mean, I'm going to have the Brotherhood come back but it'll be different. Maybe I just had to many characters and we shouldn't have had to fight all of them or something.

I really liked Trent's fight, but that's about the only one I felt justified in having... Besides Scourge anyway. But that will probably end up being a mostly Xardius fight...at least for the final bits...

OOC: Xardius kicked Raijin's sword out of his way. "So...what? I thought we'd been through this..."

OOC: Make them have life's, make them retire, have a nice life. Or have a crazy plot twist where one member kills the rest. Anything but what your doing...

OOC:Massive Storm=Power Outage=No fun....The power just came back on 20 minutes ago. I decided to read for a bit using a flashlight. As for getting rid of the Brotherhood, there is always alternatives. Thinking up of said alternatives may be next to impossible, but I'll try and think of a few ideas. Obviously, it won't be a peaceful solution, but who knows? We'll see what we can pull out of a hat for this one.

    1. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Perhaps we could force the two sects of the brotherhood against each other and have them tear each other apart, at least for a large chunk of the fights. Afterwords, we play mop up and finish the rest. Perhaps even using enemies we've fought previously as allies against a common enemy. Unlikely, but its the first thing I came up with in about 5 seconds.

    2. An idea for Scourge. He becomes so powerful that his power folds inwards upon itself and Scourge becomes a dimensional instability that threatens the entire universe. Most of the Brotherhood is wiped out, and we are faced against are doom, in no way capable of overpowering him by sheer force and be forced to use our heads to get out of it.

    3. Surprise ending! We pull a Chronicle of Narnia and all die. The End. (In the last book of the series, there is a massive train wreck that kills off basically every main character from the series. SERIOUSLY.) (Btw, in case you haven't noticed, this idea is a joke)

    4. We break the fourth wall. Always seems to work.

OOC: I kinda agree with Jaxed, I mean its the structured randomness (if that made sense) that made this rp fun. Now its just structured like any other basic fight plot. Also what if there was some weakness that we could exploit by going on a mission like we did with the map pieces or like what we did with the masters where everyone tried to strengthen themselves? Or just random fresh idea that still finalizes the plots in progress? C'mon, the amv's aren't going to be much fun if its just a bunch of fight scenes XD
Then again, breaking the fourth wall always seems to work for you guys like Jaxed said ^^

OOC:Well one thing I love seeing in any story is growth, even in things I read. Now, we have had plenty of growth. Its just that all the growth is well, "structured". What I love to see, and even more so, create, is something that can grow on its own. Something, that when written takes a complete opposite turn of what even the writer himself/herself expected, growing, continuing, existing, as if it was an entity of itself. A story so alive, as the saying goes, that it writes itself. Our story is still plenty alive, it just kind of limping, that's all. Let's breath some life into this RP. Let's make it come alive! ALIVE I TELL YOU!! ITS ALIVE! MUWHAHAHAHAHA!

OOC: Whenever I'm directing the plot we never have any problems............ just sayin'... And Jaxed, the last segment where we were actually building up on a story (like an Rp' should) was just before we started fighting all these people. It was when we were in the ship, fighting Vecked I think.

OOC: Argh! All of these disappointed people! I've gotta learn from these past mistakes in story direction.

And since you posted your BIC post as OOC, DK, I'm gonna pretend that Xardius didn't kick Raijin's sword away. XP

BIC: "Are you going to hesitate?" Raijin asked, solemnl.. "When you are closin in for the kill, you will not hesitate to kill Scourge, will you? You will not hesitate to kill your old friend, Rune?"

OOC: You know what, I'm just gonna push this thing along...

BIC: Niles collapsed on the hard street ground. They had reached the ruined city beside the Skypit. The light users had spread around the city so that they created an orb of air for everyone inside. They did not need the Light users for light anymore, because the tip of the Skypit let out so much. It wasn't really a volcano, because it had no opening at the top. It was more of a large, fiery hill with a glaring red light coming out of its tip. Niles shrugged. He was just happy they had outrun the U.O. to the Skypit.

"The transporters ready," Saak said, pulling Niles from the filthy ground. They both walked towards Redford Manor, the most secure building in the city. Inside a large transporter had been set up, various computer boxes attached to a large spinning portal.

    ***

The buzzer on Vecked's waist began to beep. The transporter was ready. Vecked grabbed his belongings, got dressed, pulled out some cash, and ran out the door. He slid down the stairs and threw the money at the Inn keeper, Greg.

"Thanks so much for your hospitality!" Vecked yelled, before pushing through the Inn's main door. Vecked hiked towards his Gummi ship, which he had hid at the edge of the village, near the forest. Vecked opened the airlock and jumped in, instantly blasting the engines. The ship burned a fair amount of trees before finally lifting off from the ground and heading into the sky.

"One hour traveling time," Vecked muttered, with a smile.

    ***

The same buzzer started on the large opposite transporter aboard the UO's ship that they had abandoned while reaching the world. Now, the ship had been captured by Skinnar's crew. The U.P.A. agents examined the transporter box carefully, before clicking on their communicators.

"Sir, we have a few written things of interest, but the most relevant for the moment was a transporter box. A box we believe is the responding portal to the one that the UO's army is using in the Skypit..." The agent explained.

A large sigh replied. "Alright, send it up."

"Yes sir," The agent replied, before stepping outside. A pack on the back of the Agent began to blast a small, blue jet. The Agent flew off the ground, transporter box in hand. The agent flew straight up, Skinnar's juggernaut of a ship, the A.S. Oblivion, was waiting, floating gently in the planets atmosphere.

The agent flew into an open bay door on the ship. He was greeted by a waiting Rentu Skinnar. "Give me that," Skinnar muttered, grabbing the transporter box. "I want an invasion force ready by the time we set that up, an invasion fleet, actually," Skinnar ordered, before dragging the transporter box away...

OOC: Ask DK. Tul Raijin's not even fighting, he's just holding up for Scourge. Though, from what DK says, the Scourge fight is pretty long.
