"Huh," Skinnar muttered. "Now thats a damn shame."

Skinnar suddenly head-kicked Pharell to the side, before entering the cockpit of the Ulfire fighter ship...

 

Argh!" Pharell shouted. "No way I'm letting you strand me here!"

He drew his blaster pistol and quickly shot Skinnar in the leg.

 

The bullet flew backward because of Skinnar's body armor. Skinnar grabbed the side of the ship in pain and slowly turned to Pharell. "Mr. Titan, you don't want to piss me off," Skinnar muttered, letting his trenchcoat drop. On his armored U.P.A. vest Skinnar had hundreds of pistols, rifles, and grenades attached. Skinnar pulled his RPG out and launched it at Pharell...

 

Pharell quickly leaped to the side, muttering obscenities. He then ran out of Skinnar's line of sight. He was nowhere to be seen...

 

Skinnar quickly jumped back in the ship and started taking off...

 

Pharell, however...had a custom U.P.A body armor as well. PHarell was able to reverse the magnetic polarity given to his suit to hitch him a ride on the ship.

"I love deus ex machina," Pharell smiled to himself.

 

Skinnar... took off towards the Ulfire base...

 

OOC:I'm sorry I'm overloading you guys with OOC posts without any RP posts, but there is also a character I would like to introduce. During Durgan's travels he comes across a new character Jeraxan Darkwave. (That is the best name I have for him, atm) He is a man with short black unkempt hair in black armor. Instead of the normal plate armor, he has black scale armor, with each individual scale trimmed at the edges with gold. He has two blades crossed at an obtuse X behind him at his waist. These blades are not traditional single blade swords. The hilt is normal, but it has two thin crystal spikes beside each other with a space in-between them coming out of the cross guard where the blade usually is. It is designed like this so that, by focusing his energies through the gemstone in the hilt, he can arc lightning in-between the two spikes. Of course, even with that little addition, the spikes are still devastating tools of combat. Especially in the hands of Jeraxan Darkwave.

That's all I have on him right now, but I plan to further develop this character in the future.

BIC:

Durgan raised an eyebrow as he checked over the paper in his hand while Orb prepared the ship for landing. "So, this is where the next bounty is? Looks like a doozy to earn."
"Quit your complaining, we've both dealt with worse." Orb muttered.
"True, but taking on an entire base is not my idea of good time. Oh well, money is money, after all. Especially when its been so hard to come by after being cut off from the U.O. for so long..."
Durgan then stabbed the end of his staff in the ground of the ship to make sure the end was still sharp. It nearly poked straight through the bottom of the ship. After the warning light blazed for a few seconds, Orb turned them off.
"Try not to get us killed before we even reach the target..."
"Well excuuuuse me, Orb. I've been kind of absent minded lately because I've been wondering how the U.O. has been doing after all this time."
"All of their vitals check out as fine. There is nothing to worry about."
"You know what I meant, Orb."
The ship landed and the air lock opened. Durgan stepped out and raised his hood, with Orb follow right behind him.
Orb:"Great job at looking inconspicuous. Why not have a giant blinking light that says 'Look at me! I'm a U.O. member!', hmm?"
"I gave up trying to look casual when I had a giant talking metal ball following me around." Durgan said before sneaking into the base.
"Great, make the attacks personal. Its not like I asked to be a giant talking ball. I have you to thank for that." Orb stated before following Durgan into the base.
*Camera pans over*
ULFIRE BASE

 

OOC: Now might not be the best time to introduce him, just cause' its almost gonna be the end of the thread soon. The end of the seasons, all of them.

 

Pharell continued to hang on to the ship. If Skinnar's plan pulled through, than all might be lost for the Sora System. At least that's how it went in Pharell's mind...

 

Skinnar arrived in the panicked docking bay of the Ulfire base...

 

"From the frying pan, into the fire, eh?" Pharell frowned, making sure he wasn't seen.

 

Skinnar jumped out of the ship and walked towards the nearby Commander. "What madness is this?" Skinnar asked the Commander roughly.

"My Gran Hairis Skinnar," Commander Alpa said, giving a slight bow. "A Pharell Titan and a Ulian Ecko have, uh, caused a ruckus here at the base, sir."

"I really don't care," Skinnar replied. "Prepare a ship for... long distance space travel?"

"How long a distance, sir?" Alpa asked.

"Try Destiny Islands," Skinnar replied.

 

OOC:He wasn't going to be introduced into this storyline. His part has already taken place. During the time of Durgan's absence is when he is encountered. After that, he no longer takes any part in the story. He's just a part of the side story I am going to make about Durgan's disappearance.

 

OOC: You can still call him Darxess in the thread...For the sake of continiuity...

BICL Pharell overheard this and sprang into action. He immediately leaped off of the ship's hull and proceeded to enter the ship Skinnar had just stolen from him. Taking off, quickly, not caring how much attention was drawn to him, he sped out of the base...Ramming into a ship containin a man and an Orb.

OOC: Pharell, Orb, and Durgan/Darxess team up begins now!

 

Alpa, Skinnar, and all of the other Ulfire soldiers turned at the sound of the crash. "Check it out," Alpa ordered, sending a few of his men towards the sound. "Take extreme precautions, gentlemen," Skinnar said to them as they passed.

"Anyway, my Hairis, your ships this way," Alpa said, escorting Skinnar down a hall...

 

"Crap," Pharell muttered, pushing his way out of the ship's now crushed door. The other ship seemed to be made out of sterner stuff, so Pharell decided to 'borrow' it from it's owner.

Pharell used a lock pick to quickly get in. Pulling a blaster rifle out, he prepared to comandeer the ship from it's occupants.

 

Sirens were coming from all over the building and several squads of troops were heading their way.
"Good job, Darxess. You've managed to get spotted before even entering the building. I think that is a new record."
"Quiet! We don't have time for insults!" Darxess exclaimed while shifting his staff into a combat stance. "Let's see how strong they are. Orb, you have the honors."
"Ooh! This will be fun!" Orb covered himself in flames and aimed itself straight toward the enemy.
While Orb was keeping the guards busy, Darxess heard a small crack coming from the hull. He sighed. "Now what?"

 

Alpa and Skinnar walked down the hall. "My Hairis, I think your gonna like your ship," Alpa commented as they reached the right dock. There was only one ship parked, a small four person flyer.

"That thing can barely go beyond the planets surface," Skinnar commented. "How the hell do you expect me to reach Destiny Islands in that thing?"

"I don't sir, the ship we are look for is docked in the skies," Alpa explained, getting in the ship. The two took off from the dock and flew into the skies. Skinnar looked hard out the window of the ships as they got higher and higher. The cloud around them slowly flew apart to reveal the A.S. Juggerknot, the massive Gummi Ship that the U.P.A. Captain's would fly.

"Why... thats my ship, the part of the ninth series," Skinnar muttered. "I used that when I was in the race for Supreme Captain, those years ago... I thought it was put into retirement, what's it doing here?"

"Part of the U.O. alliance was that Ulfire get all retired U.P.A. ships," Alpa explained. "We got yours. I think its only fair you get it back..."

The troops came to a halt, still a fair amount away from the ships. One troop pulled his sniper rifle out and aimed right for Pharell...

 

"Sorry, folks!" Pharell said, pointing his blaster rifle at Darxess. "I'm going to have to take this vessel as my own. If you leave me alone, I might decide not to throw you overboard."
