"It's Kai..... She's lost most of her memory." Garxena looked at Silax. "Someone's coming to try to help."

Another? Kai turned to face them, shaking off the picture of herself and Dexeon.

 

Xeal walked over to the cupboard and took out a black box. Xeal opened the box and took out a white fruit that looked like an eye."This should do..." Xeal portaled to Garxena.

 

Kai looked over at Xeal. There's a lot of people I 'know'... She bit her lip. This is one of the worst things to happen to a world protector. Once this is over, I've got to get back to.... um.... great. I can't even remember where I was.

Garxena gently squeezed Silax's hand. "He says he can help." She said. Even if I hate him, if he can help Kai, I'll let him.

 

"Give her this." Xeal said as he gave the weird white fruit to Garxena "Thats a Rebound Fruit. It ripens every 1000 years and when it does ripen, it never spoils. The Ancients used these fruits to release all forgotten memories."

 

Garxena smiled. "Thanks, Xeal."

And I'm just supposed to eat that? I don't know... Kai thought sceptically.

 

"You'd better appreciate it! Like i said before It only ripens every 1000 YEARS!"
Xeal said a laugh.

 

"And you better hope this does nothing bad to her...." Silax said gently holding Garxena's hand, "or you will regret it......"

 

"That will do nothing bad to Kai. Although it tastes like pickles." Xeal said with a glare at Silax. "But in and unrelated topic, would you three like to come train with me on Dragon Scale Island? Its my yearly trip to meet my master for a refresher."

 

Katara stared out the window. I hope Kai gets her memory back soon... she thought, trying to get her mind off of the note and to focus more on what is going on at the moment.

 

A flash of Xeal and Kai standing by Kai's Gummi ship passed through Kai's mind. Again? I am remembering things?

"I trust him." Garxena smiled. Sort of...

 

"No...." Silax said plainly, "I have my own way of training in pure darkness....it doesn't suit everyone how ever....." he said before turning to Garxena, "I'd like to talk with you when your ready...." he said kissing her once and portaling away.

 

Katara stood up and walked over to the window. She stared out at the lanscape.

 

"Too bad..."Xeal said with a shrug "Master Zanmato taught me everything i know. How about you Garxena? do you wanna come?"

 

Silax portaled into the lobby and sat down in a chair, "as if we didn't have enough troubles...." he sighed leaning back, "I feel like just relaxing...."

 

Katara turned around when she heard someone come into the lobby. "Hey, Silax..." she said and smiled. "How's everything coming with Kai...?"

 

Garxena looked at Kai then Xeal. "I do need to get stronger, but I want to make sure Kai is okay."

"I'm not dying. Go if you want." Kai smiled. I think I'm starting to remember who these people are. The one that just left is called Silax. And this guy is.... Xeal? Yeah, that's it.

Garxena handed Kai the white fruit. "Tell Silax I'll be back soon." She made a portal for Kai back to the lobby.

Kai nodded and went through the portal.

"Alright. Let's go." Garxena said to Xeal.

 

"Good as far as I know......" Silax said, "supposedly theres a fruit that we got our hands on that will help her remember......"

 

Kai came out of the portal in the lobby. That was awkward... She looked at Katara. Familiar.... my head... She put a hand on her head.

 

Katara smiled. "That's good to know..." she said and looked up, seeing Kai.

 

Xeal snapped his fingers and a portal appeared. "Lets go." He walked through the portal.
