Katara hugged him back. "Thank you..." she said and smiled. "I was thinking of asking for your help... I'm not sure what's up with Kai lately..."

 

"I don't think she has a thing for darkness....." Silax grinned, "but even if that is true...we are getting you out of here as well....." he said taking Katara's hand.

 

Katara took her hand back. "I can't leave..." she said. "I promised... I promised him that I would stay and help..." she looked down. "Normally I wouldn't care about a stupid promise... but he made me promise on something dear to me... and I can't risk losing it..."

 

Garxena looked around. "Silax.... I don't see Katara..."

Kai stood, holding on to the rail of the ship for support. She looked out at the water. I can't wait any longer. I have to find Zuko. With Katara out of the way, I'll be able to take him on without him hurting Katara. She put her other hand over her heart.

 

Kairi joined them on the ship, "So, we're staying?" she asked, "That's good, but, where's Katara?"

 

Katara wanted to tell them that she was right next to them, but it might freak them out if they heard her voice and nobody was there. Well... I don't want to frighten them... she thought.

Zuko made sure that everything on the ship was in order.

 

"Don't worry shes safe...." Silax smiled kissing Garxena, "but I want to make sure Zuko dies....so he will leave her alone....."

 

Kai turned around, still leaning. All I have to do is find Zuko. Even in this state, I can take him easily.

Garxena looked at Kairi and shrugged.

 

Kairi shrugged back, "Whatever, so long as she's save." she looked around, "But really, where is she?"

 

Kai began walking around, looking for Zuko. Where'd he go?

 

Katara remained silent.

 

Kai went down to the lower deck and wandered around. I'd call his name, but I don't want an unneeded fight.

"Silax, Kai said she had a plan. I don't think we should mess with it...... and I don't want to get her mad..." Garxena said.

 

Silax sighed, "but I'm not going to leave everything to just her...." he said, "your sister seems to like holding us down Garxena...and we can't let that happen...."

 

Hold us down? Garxena shook her head, getting rid of the thought. "Right. I want to help."

I might have to attract some attention to myself now.... Kai risked opening a door.

 

Silax kissed Garxena and smiled, "then lets help together...." he said searching for Katara with his mind, "she is fairly close...."

 

Katara looked at Silax. I don't know if I should talk or not... I don't want to scare her... Katara thought so Silax could hear.

Zuko walked around the ship.

 

"Is she okay?" Garxena asked.

No one here.... Kai closed the door and kept searching.

 

Silax heard the thought, "yes shes fine...." he smiled taking Garxena's hand, and holding Katara's with the other, "so lets find your sister I guess....."

 

Katara smiled. I think she's on the lower deck... she thought.

 

Kai sighed. I guess I'm gonna have to. She called out Zuko's name.

Garxena looked over. It looks like he's holding nothing... if I was Katara I'd be having a heck of a lot of fun being unseen. She shook her head. Focus. I'm too easily distracted.
