"I'm alri-" Garxena's burn intensified in pain. She cried out and held her wrist. Brother stop! Tears of pain formed in her bright eyes.

"Garxena?!" Riku rushed over and helped support her.

 

"That I'd like to see. You know, Riku could be a powerful asset on our side. He is very skilled with the Darkness." Dexeon hinted.

 

Yeifou stared at her wrist, "Garxena...whats wrong....." he said then spotting the mark, "what is that...."

"As long as they choose darkness as their power......" Telren said inspecting the replica for any flaws.

The replica went and leaned against the wall, "I guess we could use more dark beings on our side...."

 

"Her stupid brother gave her a burn that only allows her to go 100 feet from him. I guess she's been hiding the pain." Riku explained to Yeifou. "I don't know what to do."

Garxena closed her eyes tight trying to block the pain. The tears fell. "Riku... do what I asked..." she begged.

 

"I'm sure all it would take for Riku would be a few words." Dexeon smirked. Do you feel it sister? Come be with me if you want it to stop.

 

Yeifou gave Garxena a gentle hug, "theres no need to go through pain on our account...." he smiled, "I don't like to see you hurt....."

Telren turned around, "perhaps......although you could maybe persuade him to join by threatening Garxena's safety....." he grinned.

The Yeifou replica merely laughed.

 

"Yes, that would be more amusing." Dexeon thought about it. "She should be here sortly anyways. That burn must be hurting." He laughed.

 

The pain would not stop. But Yeifou's gentle hug told Garxena that everything would be alright. She tried to ignore the pain and asked, "Why won't my Oblivionblade come to me?"

"It won't?" Riku was puzzled. "Have you truly decided whoes side you're on? Your weapon can't fight for you if it doesn't know what it's fighting for."

Garxena shook her head. "I don't know what side I've taken." she admitted.

 

"Please don't listen to Telren....." Yeifou said pulling away and staring her in the eyes, "please don't through the pain and then be betrayed time and time again like I was...."

Telren laughed, "that is a interesting talent....." he grinned, "yes bring her to us.....after all she has a debt to pay to you correct?"

The Yeifou replica overheard what they were saying, "Garxena?" he said thinking, "was that, that girl....."

 

"I don't know... when I joined him before, the power was amazing... but I hated the feeling betraying my friends..." Garxena shook her head. "and this stupid burn won't stop hurting... I'm so confused."

"Trust me." Riku put in. "Our side is the better side."

 

"Correct, she does." Dexeon looked at the replica. "Yes she is 'that girl'. And she's also quite useless."

 

Yeifou took her hand gently and gave her a smile, "listen to Riku....you don't want to do this....besides soon we will be rid of Telren and along with him your pain...."

Telren looked around, "curious....I thought you said she would be here soon..." he said stopping and glancing at Dexeon, "having trouble getting her here?"

The Yeifou replica laughed, "if you need me to go pick her up I can...."

 

"Fine go fetch her." Dexeon waved a dismissive hand at the replica.

 

"Alright. I've made my choice." Garxena's Obivionblade appeared in her hand. "Finally." she sighed and wieghed it between her hands.

"So what side?" Riku inquired.

 

"I hope its our side....." Yeifou said standing up, "I'd really hate lose a friend to a side that doesn't care about you...like we do...." he smiled.

Telren laughed, "this shouldn't take long....."

The Yeifou replica appeared in Garxena's doorway, "perhaps she has choosen the side that really does care about her.....the side that she made a debt to....." he grinned at her.

 

"No! I've chosen the side of my true friends!" She held up her Oblivionblade. "The side that has true power!"

Riku smiled. "I knew you'd choose us." He gave her a shoulder hug before pulling his Keyblade.

 

"Real power...." the Yeifou replica laughed, "your joking right? the only way you can have true power is not having to rely on anything......not having friends....not caring about anyone....." he grinned conjuring a dirk, "cause her more pain Dexeon....I need the others distracted to kidnap her....."

 

Very well... Dexeon's Fireguantlet glowed more intensly. That should be enough.

 

Kairi had let herself fall asleep at the window but woke with a start at Garxena's words. She turned around and smiled grogely. "Thank goddness, I was beginning to wonder if you would ever get it back." She walked over to Garxena and hugged her.

 

Before Garxena could shoot back a venemous reply, her burn seered. She screamed and dropped to her knees, her Oblivionblade vanished. Her skin smoked slightly.

"Garxena!" Riku went to her side. "Make him stop!" He yelled at the replica.
