"Thanks Nova." Garxena hugged him back. "I don't know if they'll be back or not." Garxena's voice wavered.

Riku looked at Kairi. "I have no comment."

 

Kairi gave Riku a scornful look, "Riku, don't be a jerk." she hugged Garxena again, "trust them, they will be back." She looked at Nova, but couldn't think of anything to say.

 

"Group hug?" Riku joined in hugging Garxena.

Garxena's eyes widened. She relaxed, It's not going to change anything. But at least I feel better. "Thank you."

 

Kairi pulled away, smiling. "I think you guys need your own hug." She looked at the three of her friends, "I am going to bed for a few, wake me when you want to leave Riku." Her eyes fell on Nova, "Nova, I don't want to leave but I have to go home, for now. I will never forget you, don't forget me either. I know you will not need this but, keep it at least for me anyway." she handed him her syth. "I dont' think i will be able to use it anymore. Some day, I will show you a star, Nova. I promise."

Garxena's eyes filled with tears as another good-bye was said. She knew Nova would not forget Kairi, but it would be hard on both of them.

"Sure thing, Kairi." Riku sat on a chair against the wall. "This has all been so weird. I promise you, Garxena, they'll come back." Riku closed his eyes to hopefully get some sleep.

Kotone took the vial and then looked at Telren, glaring at him coldly. "He is not a fool."

 

Telren laughed, "think what you will...." he grinned, "but I know how much of a fool he is...."

Yeifou glared at Telren, "yes you are pretty foolish....can't even tell who the fool is here...." he said turning to Kotone, "I'm glad your here....were attempting to destroy this cursed portal..."

 

OOC: I gtg.....

 

"Where did it come from?" Kotone asked. "And where does it lead to?"

 

"Two fine questions I myself would like to find out as well.....after we destroy it....." Yeifou said with a grin, "we are trying to find the center of this place.....flood it with our darkness....thats why we need everyone we have here.....we must have enough darkness to succesfully consume it...." he said thinking, "us five should be enough....." he said looking at the vial, "with an hour to get all this done...."

Telren stared at Yeifou and Kotone, "you only have an hour....where my potion lasts a day....your pathetic...." he laughed, "don't expect me to rescue you if we run out of time...." he said walking up ahead.

 

"Are you sure it's wise to eradicate it completely?" Kotone inquired.

 

"Light will ever be present...." Yeifou sighed, "unfornately.....but see by flooding it with darkness.....that should cause the portal to start to fade.....with its light...." he grinned, "after we start the flood....we must get out of here....I will be the last one out to make sure you guys get out ok...." he smiled.

Telren overheard him say he would be the last one out, "like I said you fool....I will not save you...." he said stilling walking ahead, "besides....whats the matter.....scared of the darkness.....when you possess it right in your nobody existence....." he laughed.

 

"We cannot feel, so we cannot fear, Telren," Kotone said. "And we will not need rescuing."

 

Telren grinned, "think whatever.....but you will never know the power of darkness like I do...." he said, "not until you learn to accept it....."

Yeifou ignored Telren and turned to Kotone, "we can to feel.....it may not seem like it but I believe we can....like I feel happy to know I have a friend like you that I can count on...." he said with a smile.

 

"But...still...if I truly felt something, I would be feeling pain right now," Kotone said, sounding as if she was remembering her past. Shaking her head, she turned to Yeifou and said, "Anyway, let's hurry and get this over with."

 

Yeifou looked at her, "Pain...." he said confused, then he grinned, "fine I'll have to find a way to cheer you up after this then...." he laughed, "well according to the research.....the center of this portal is a little ways due north.....we should be there in about thirty minutes...." he said thinking, "well look on the bright side.....atleast we don't have to worry about heartless...." he grinned.

 

"Well, we must move as fast as possible," Kotone said, "if we are to succeed."

 

"So thats thirty minutes up....thirty minutes back.....true we need to pick up the pace....that is if we don't want to have to run our selves to death on the way back..." Yeifou grinned, "so lets kick it up a little bit shall we?" he said running up ahead.

Telren watched, "yes thats it waste you energy....that way when we reach the center you will be exhausted....." he said with a grin. "Smart..." he continued walking his regular speed.

 

"If you know of a better way, why not enlighten us?" Kotone demanded Telren.
